Research help needed: knowledge of Knights Templar and Masonic history vital

i am in conversation with a uk historian regarding some knights templar locations, where jws have built buildings.

*** this is serious research - not a joke *** .

i am not - and do not wish to be - a conspiracy theorist, but something has come to light in the uk and i lack the knowledge of knights templar + masons.

i left the wts in the early 1990's and i was baptised at the same assembly as this elder and his wife in the late 1980's they were probably in their early 50's back then, you know the kind; get called on, become a study and take to life as a jw like a duck takes to water, a dream call for all jw's and we went onto to be good friends with them over the years, the book study was held in their house also, he quietly progressed up the jw ladder became an ms then elder, a few months after i started my fade i saw him one day while i waited for a bus and he acknowledged me i said hi etc and he started a verbal tirade towards me about me knowing its the truth, how close we are living to the end, how stupid i was turning my back on it etc blah blah blah, i couldn't really get a word in edge ways, i bid him good day and that was that, he really was quite angry, i never saw him again until recently over 25 years later when him and his wife and their son were having a meal in my local pub, he was standing at the bar ordering, i saw him acknowledged him said hi and he looked straight through me, he said "do i know you ?

" i replied " hey eddie its jookbeard from the ********** congregation, surely you remember me?

" he said sorry i've never seen you before in my life, his wife came over to help him with his drinks and i said "hey pat, how are you?

Is God so incompetent that he can`t say what he means ? or that he does not mean what he says ?

Better still why didn't Jesus write something down, after the books of Matthew Mark Luke and John all of them just quoting what Jesus said?

We could have the book of Jesus straight from the horse's mouth.....But ohhh NOOOO! That would make things to clear and understandable

i don't remember seeing it ever really talked about here but the facebook group with the namesake of this post shut down at the end of march.

it was archived and they weren't clear as to when or if they would come back.

it seemed to come out of nowhere, and i know a lot of people were disappointed.

From what I gather Simon has basically built a lot of this custom himself. He, as far as I know, seems to be the only mod. So you know he gets a ton of messages and problems between people here to deal with. I don't know what he does exactly behind the scenes but my guess is there's some SEO involved and other things to keep up with. Props to Simon for keeping this place open while so many others fold.

So thank you to Simon, and to your wife as well who I think does things behind the scenes or just supports you in this (I don't know who does what), because it isn't easy and you're truly helping people. This place was a lifesaver for me.

you all may recall a recent news article i posted.

it was about a bus driver who abused several school children.

while the news never really dived into his personal life, i did mention here that he is a well known elder to the hall i used to attend.. two new charges have been brought against him and now the bail is up to $420,000.

there are a number of salient facts concerning this man who possessed a big reputation.. 1. covington and rutherford were pretty much the type a personalities who got along famously.

in fact, rutherford wanted covington to be the next gb executive of the watchtower corporation.. 2. fred franz and nathan knorr were the polar opposites to the (above) dynamic duo.

these two would conspire to drive covington out.

Random Musing of an ex-JW between a rock and a hard place.

many of you may recall pass postings of mine where i mentioned my plans of moving away from my current neighborhood.

mainly because my office got moved and now my commute is about one hour each way.

my employer is pretty flexible so showing up on time, for now, is not an issue.

Yesterday my wife informed me that she had finally decided that she will..... but with one condition... that my wife returns to meetings.

This is emotional blackmail.

Explain to your wife this and it's your terms, not the MIL.

MIL has no right to put this on you and you flatly will not accept this full stop.
