scare tactics generating fear of the end is the core message of jehovah's witnesses.predictions based on so-called bible prophecy is their mother's milk.

"critical times hard to deal with" flavors every book, article,pamphlet and conversation spoken by dub on the doorstep.indeed, all we hear anywhere seems to be bad news.

are jw's right?can this be put to the test?

i recently had a discussion with a jw concerning a change in wording of a scripture - in fact this was my all time favourite scripture, namely, micah 6:8.. my view is that the wtbts have deliberately changed the wording and meaning of the said scripture.

the other person is of the opinion that that is not the case.

I have downloaded your apostate interview haven't yet listened to it but I will for sure.

I personal believe JWs are so heavily brainwashed no one will leave until they themselves are ready.

You just can't fix stupid.

Just wanted to say ; about one of your comments about learning to hug and say "I love you", I too learned this from "worldly" people.

This was one of the biggest eye-openers that I learnt from "worldly" people.

Pretty sad when we were raised in the most loving group of Christians in the world!

elder from my former cong

i left the wts in the early 1990's and i was baptised at the same assembly as this elder and his wife in the late 1980's they were probably in their early 50's back then, you know the kind; get called on, become a study and take to life as a jw like a duck takes to water, a dream call for all jw's and we went onto to be good friends with them over the years, the book study was held in their house also, he quietly progressed up the jw ladder became an ms then elder, a few months after i started my fade i saw him one day while i waited for a bus and he acknowledged me i said hi etc and he started a verbal tirade towards me about me knowing its the truth, how close we are living to the end, how stupid i was turning my back on it etc blah blah blah, i couldn't really get a word in edge ways, i bid him good day and that was that, he really was quite angry, i never saw him again until recently over 25 years later when him and his wife and their son were having a meal in my local pub, he was standing at the bar ordering, i saw him acknowledged him said hi and he looked straight through me, he said "do i know you ?

" i replied " hey eddie its jookbeard from the ********** congregation, surely you remember me?

" he said sorry i've never seen you before in my life, his wife came over to help him with his drinks and i said "hey pat, how are you?

Is God so incompetent that he can`t say what he means ? or that he does not mean what he says ?

Better still why didn't Jesus write something down, after the books of Matthew Mark Luke and John all of them just quoting what Jesus said?

We could have the book of Jesus straight from the horse's mouth.....But ohhh NOOOO! That would make things to clear and understandable
