Prostituting herself for the "truth"

my mother in law went back into the maw after disassociating herself in 99. her elder husband had left her, and her kids and her grandkids wouldnt speak to her and it got to be too much.

i heard yesterday that she went back and he is moving back in.

and this just after she was here in june saying how she didnt believe in any of it, but tried to "force herself" and "convince herself" it was the "trooth" last spring so that her husband would come back, then came to her senses.

Reminds me of a cousin of mine who had been df'd for years. As a servant in the congregation I sought him out and drug him back to the KH- (Evil of me huh?) He got re-instated. Now I am the one out LOL. And he shuns me..... poetic justice for dragging his ass back in I guess.

What makes it sad for me is that most all my family is now dead and I do miss conversing with him frim time to time- and of course the thought that I dealt with him while he was df'd but he refuses to talk to me.

Thank god that I have many friends in the "world" to offer me an extended family. Still love him and my JW mom though- and I don't the WT for THEIR decision. I was once a part of it and one can leave freely as I did.

If armagedon does not come this time many will leave the org (i.e. 1975)- And with the 1975 date in the memories of so many jw's- though they do not speak of it and try to forget it- the fall out could be greater this time.

All the hard hitting news that reaches us by cable each day the jw's are quitetly believing that the END IS NEAR. They are afraid to be too loud about it- just in sace they are wrong again- but the thougt is there and real to them.

So I say- look out- if armagedon does not come shortly and the threat of war dies down- many may indeed drop out of the WT, more than were effected by the 1975 false prophecy.

Remember they believe themselves to be an elite group, being lead by god's representitives (the GB) and they expect the worst for themselves before their salvation. They have harped on this message for a century- death, prison and ridicule do not sway them. And they are proud of that fact.They love to talk about all the persacution some have endured. To them these scandels only prove to them that their message is the true message.

The only thing that drives them out in numbers is the failing prophecies. Many of us here remember what happened in the years and months prior to and right after 1975.

This is the first time in the history of the WTBTS that they have met an organized opponent that has the " moral highground " hands down !

Your statement is not correct. Over the years several organized efforts have been made against the WT. Some made quite a voice in the middle of the last century. The big dif with silent lambs is the advent of the internet.

In fact there are a couple of religions that fought the WT hard- some while still active jw's. Then they did just has been seuggested that dragon do: They formed there own religion.

My point exactly. What I did to silent lambs here is axactly what silent lambs is doing to the WT. It does not work. It creates friction and gains negative response. I, like most here, disagree with most of what the WT is about. But, what I have seen posted on these boards is exactly what was said about me- "unreasonable". It got me no where on this forum. My point all along is to be reasonable in ones efforts in forcing a change in WT policy.

No one here liked my nick picking silent lambs apart. That is understandable. The reaction you gave to me is exactly what the WT will give to silent lambs if eveyone keeps nick picking the WT apart-

I support the movement towards changes WT policy in regards to pediphiles. I support the support given to victims. The nick picking of the WT only takes ones credibility away and the cause is lost

Hampton, your response to the unwanted criticisms are expactly the point I have been trying to demonstrate. Nick picking the WT will get the exact same response you gave to dragon.

It is counterproductive. It doe not create change.

The nick picking cirticising post that I have posted are a mirror image of what is going on here against the WT. Those criticisms toward the WT will gain the saem response you and others have given to these criticisms..

Purple, the case has been lain out very well. The reform needs to be made in a legal sense. If one is truly concerned about pediphile issues it is through washington that the reform must come. Marching on th WT and slamming the WT is only a process of venting. No one knows or cares about silent lambs enough for those gatherings to imapct a change in policy. Staying wrapped up here on this board one looses his senses in that one begans to think that silent lambs has made a greater impact than they have. Outside of this board- NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION> Date Line airs very week and covers many dif topics. It was a wonderful thing that such media was given to the plight of these vicitms.

I will not go on and on. Laws must be made and enforced. Laws that have teeth. Failure to report a pediphile by a church- the church loses tax free status.

Marching on the WT and public accusations? The media is beginning to look at silent lambs and bill bowen as nothing more than disgruntled ex jw who wants to blacken the eye of the religion that he freely walked away from 13 months prior to his having been df'd. He has publicly stated his desire to dismantle the WT. He has demonstrated conduct that takes away from the credibility of his cause. From his bragging of the loud mufflers and sqeeling tires to his disrupting a JW meeting to make his own announcment. You guys need to back away from this thing long enough to really see what outsiders are seeing. You guys are so caught up in the thing that you have no concept of what others are feeling about silent lambs efforts.

To effectivly persue the cause you have got to get real. There is so much anti jw sentiment among the group that the credibilty of this whole thing is lost. It is a darnded shame. And when the likes of dragon and I try to tactfully draw attention to a few things even bill bowen calls him stupid and a few other choice words.

Hey, I wish you all well. I would not want this movement as it stand today representing the memory of my victimized cousin- she would not either.

Mr Bowen and Ms Anderson both called me. That is how I got involved. Piss poor attitude- well again you don't know me. But I do get tired of the crying sniveling ex jws who use jw tactics and jw hate to support a supposed good cause. I, after discussions with Mr Bowen, have great concern over his movement and what it will accomplish.

I had left these forums for a while only to come back after my conversations with silent lambs. Having personal feelings and a background in the matter I felt compelled to speak very loudly- wish I could see my way clear to be involved with the effort. Cant do it. For one I have personal circumstances that prevent it and two I have doubts as to the integrety of mr bowen.

I did what I did on this board to show that the tactics that are used against the WT will not work. My criticisms about silent lambs prove that and I would have hoped it would make people think. If not- oh well.

Bashing the WT will not help the victims. I feel that is one reason the media did little to report the friday march.

Anyway I am back out of this. I was quite beyond this till mr bowen called me and expressed his desire to dismantel the WT.

One more thought. Rouge said: And I suppose you have first hand knowledge here...get ya head outta the sand.. A nother person here posted the claim that they DID know the girl who made the accusations- this person stated that she was mentaly ill and the society knows of her condition.

Dragon is a real good person. Many here saw some of the same points we were bringing up.

Yes of course I would support a group that throws out National Enquirer type propaganda like this:

"An opportunity was given to anyone who wanted to make a statement, thats when we heard the shocking news accusing Jaracz of sexually assaulting someone. Equally shocking was the alleged claim that Jaracz is part of a demonic cult, involved in ritual abuse, as well as grooming children for sex."

When there are real and serious issues to bring to the table.

Rouge maybe you did not read of my personal experience. I will not review it again now but I will tell you I have more of a personal reason to seek change in wt policy than I can see that mr bowen does. In my family type of thing.

Hate is not the answer. And I am quite offended when someone that says they support victims of jw child abuse acts as mr bowen has. I do not care for the momory of my relative to be promoted with hate groups and squeeling tires and loud mufflers. Yes, my friend, it is personal to me. I want to see postive action in favor of protecting all children from such conduct. I have quite a history in this thing and much personal experience. I will not sit back in silence as this program develops without criticism. If you knew me and my personal circumstance you may appreciate my stand more and my inability and lack of desire to be involved with the likes of mr bowen.

I shall say no more except I have suffered the WT as much as any silent lamb supporter here if not more- and from conversations with mr bowen i know that i have endured much more than this man who is filled with hate when I have strong reason to hate but refuse to for the sake of good!
