I started to know it wasn't the truth when I saw the Society blatantly lie in one of its publications. Ah, the good ol' 1985 Creation book where they so arrogantly put references in the back. I guess they figured no one would bother checking the quotes... no strong JW would EVER question the society!

i would have firmly but politely told the witnesses to never come back to my door and bother me again.
since i was raised "in the truth", i learned the religion from infancy.

How much do you tip and why?

overall i get really good tips but sometimes it seems like the customers are going to tip a certain amount no matter what i do.
i can totally screw up a table and still get a great tip and other tables i give perfect service to and get a lousy tip.

I usually tip 20% unless the service was just horrendous (which is rare). I sometimes tip 25% if the service was exceptional.

I have over 3300 MP3s but almost all of them (except maybe 50) are ripped from my own CD collection. I sometimes download MP3s but will buy the album if I like the artist enough. (Downloaded MP3s are usually only encoded at 128kbps and I prefer 320kbps.) If I download I use Kazaa Lite.

I guess that means I was paying even less attention at the meetings than I had originally thought. And I am only guilty of falling asleep at maybe 33% of the meetings.

Vicious attacks by JW family
by KGB ini am hoping that by telling my story that i will be able to once and for all time release the stress built up inside of me from brutal attacks i have received from the my jw family.. in 1996 i moved to a town called redding, ca.
i moved there because my mother lived there with her husband.
my youngest half brother whom i loved well passed on from cancer at only 21. i felt that i needed to be closer to my mother so i closed my buisness which was a very profitable buisness and moved to redding.

When I was in the borg I used to tell people never to search for "Jehovah's Witnesses" on the Internet because 99.9% of it was apostate. I was such a moron... I should have encouraged it. Maybe I should return to the organization to try and pull as many away as possible.

I was an MS from 1997-1998 but they "demoted" me when I changed congregations. I started to waiver in "the truth" 3 or so years ago. I soon dropped out of the school and my service time went to an average of 4 or 5 hours per month. I rarely commented at meetings and they took me off the WT reader list. It finally came to a head in September of 2002 when I just stopped going to meetings.
Two key things broke my implicit trust in the Society: the pedophile scandal as well as finding misquotations in the 1985 Creation book. After that it was easier for me to honestly question things and my "wall of faith" crumbled like the chips at the bottom of the bag.

lol. On the DVD commentary they talk specifically about this scene. They originally had the woman going down much farther. The network censors didn't like that.
