if it was to artificially create clouds, why come to edinburgh ?

You can't possibly prove chemtrails exist by just "seeing" them. You can't establish they are chemtrails by claiming they "hang around a long time."
Contrails exist due to the way jet engines operate (water vapor is a byproduct of their operation). Contrails vary in numerous ways: whether or not they appear in the first place, how quickly they dissipate (anywhere from less than a second to multiple hours), whether or not they spread and grow, etc. The same variety is true for normal clouds. Guess what? Contrails are basically cirrus clouds and will have the same type of variety as clouds do. Variety is due to variations in atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, air currents, etc.
Those claiming chemtrails are true would need to prove it. They are the ones making a claim here. Take air samples. Find the tanks that hold the chemicals on the planes. Find the chemical tank refilling equipment. Find the nozzles that spray it out.
Consider the tens of thousands of people that would have to remain silent: the ground crew that refills the chemical tanks. The maintenance workers who repair the chemtrail equipment. The crews that install the equipment. The pilots who activate the spraying equipment during flight. The staff that works at the companies that manufacture the chemical and sell/ship to airports.
Which is more likely here - you are seeing contrails: a known, proven, and well understood result of jet engines? Or chemtrails: something with no hard evidence, something that would require the silence of 10,000+ individuals in multiple countries and under the jurisdiction of multiple governments?
This will of course be a waste of time, but sometimes I can't help but reply to threads like this.

Many people seem to be offering suggestions about putting something in your ear. This won't help with *middle* ear fluid buildup. The eardrum basically seals off the ear canal from the middle ear. The middle ear drains through the eustachian tubes.

Dude I have the SAME problem right now and am due to fly on Sunday. I had a case of bronchitis a couple weeks back and also had a lot of sinus congestion. I still have a lot of fluid in my right middle ear and am mostly deaf as a result. Early on the pressure was so great it was causing significant pain, but that has subsided so I hope it means the fluid is slowly draining.
I flew once before when I was in this situation and the pressure changes hurt like HELL. There is also the possibility of rupturing an eardrum if the pressure gets too great. In that case the fluid will actually drain out your ear canal and the pain will subside. And your eardrum does recover from this, I guess.
I have been looking around online at ways to fix this problem and there seems to be only two options: wait it out and let it drain naturally (which can actually take MONTHS in some cases), or have an ENT doctor actually pierce your eardrum and put a tube in there so it can drain. They sometimes do the latter for young children as their eustachian tubes are especially susceptible to not draining properly.
A dr told me to take Claritin-D but it's hard to say if it's working or not.

If there is no God, then why are there Satan worshippers and the occult? That question is an interesting one indeed.
Um... seriously? So if people worship Satan he must be real? What about the thousands of other religions that have existed throughout mankind's history? Is Zeus real because the Greeks believed it to be the case?
If the Bible was wrote by men, then why does it tell us to seek forgiveness from Jesus? Why would men write such a fairytale condemning all of humanity to hell?
Because it's about trying to control other people, duh. If I made up a religion and decided to write my own holy book, I would make up some figure that people had to worship too -- or face divine punishment of course.
And if men did write the Bible without ant Divine inspiration, then how did the forty Biblical writers, over 1,500 years of history, manage to complete such a seamless masterpiece of prophecy?

Did you watch R rated movies when you were in it?
by ldrnomo inlast night, i watched an r rated movie that featured violence.
at least 30 people were shot in the first 45 min of the movie.. while i was in and an elder, i watched r rated movies all the time just didn't talk about it.
so how many of you watched r rated movies even though "mother" said not to?.

I was a good lil' JW boy and never watched R movies. I think the first time I watched one was one or two years before I left the borg... so I was 25 or 26 at the time. I remember going into the theater and thinking there'd be gratuitous sex and nudity on the screen. Isn't that what all R movies had? I was disappointed.
