  Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  do any of you suffer from what you perceive as ocd?

  to any degree?

  Hi Aztec!

  Well, I don't have that disorder, but for the longest time (from about 15-26 years old), I have severe anxiety and mild depression. I finally got the help I needed for it and am grateful.

  Do I blame the jw's for it? Oh, not really. I don't know what to blame actually. I can understand that all illnesses are different though and maybe the obsessive compulsive could be a partial result of being in that organization. I certainly think that it is possible contributing factor.

  PS. Aztec, are you enjoying your time in the penalty box? LOL I guess it will take a while.

  Ran into two JW's in service today, I was on !!!, it was classic !!!

  well, for some reason i was up extra early today, understand i am night person and usually sleep to 11 or so today i was up at 9 and decided to take the dogs out before it got to hot outside.

  i hadn't been gone 3 minutes and as i came out of my street onto another i bumped into 2 jw's (females) getting out of their suv.

  they asked do you have a couple of minutes.

  I Did Jesus come in 1914?

  i think i have read this somewhere, but do the jehovah witnesses believe that jesus came and spoke with some members of the watchtower organization?

  is this a lie, or do they truly believe it?

  if it is true, do they state it in any book or magazine?

  The jw's believe it, but it is based on wrong and inaccurate information. The jw's calculated Christ's heavenly reign to start in 1914 because they believed that Jerusulam fell in 607 BCE. That was the critical date. However, they are dead wrong on that. One of the most proven dates that almost everyone cannot deny is that Jerusulem fell in 586 BCE. and not 607. The jw's calculated everything wrong. The only significant thing that happened in 1914 was a world war. Others can elaborate here..... So, the answer to the question is that no, Jesus did not arrive in 1914.

  I was a bit surprised that this is big news. I have known for a long time that sex in any way reduces prostate cancer. I don't know how many knew that, but I have for quite a while.

  i made it through two successful interviews and today they called me and said i got the job!

  i'll make about $10,000 a year more than i am now!
