by gingerbread ini began my proactive 'fade' a couple of years ago.
it was due to multiple events: observing (once again) another botched judicial decision, researching the origins of wt beliefs and organizational history & reading the bible by itself.. when the kids were young, i made every effort to get them to the meetings, out in service, study with them, read the bible story book, watch the videos and have plenty of parties with other witness kids.
being raised in the 'truth', i felt this was the best way to teach them right from wrong.

A brother at my wife's congregation wants to study the Bible Teach book...
by garyneal in... he apparently has wanted to do so for a while now.
i agreed to meet with him this tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. edt.
he asked me to pick the chapter where i wanted to start.. hmmmmm... where shall i start?

No bibles at any kingdomhalls, strong rumors the annual meeting is regarding the bible...
by EndofMysteries infrom relatives and contacts in 2 states, there have been no bibles available for a couple months.
one person mentioned to me as well about supposed quotes in the magazines from other bibles.
rumors are that they will announce a new bible, or possibly tell everyone to buy a bible from another place that they approve of.

Actually ithink theyll just cancel the bibles period....just use publications. I was told by the branch committee that the talks given in 2014 will ONLY be givenfrom the insight book starting with the topic Aaron..hiws that for more control

The elder at my hall said they havent been producing Bibles because they had to focus most if their money on the DC and the prodigal movie/imitate their faith book

However itmust be said that the recordingof age throughout thE Bible. So they had to keep track of birthdays to put ages in the scriptures. you cant really say that the DiD or did NOT celebrate birthdays. Interesting

New Light not accepted by all..

He everyone im new here. Ive been lurking for a while actually trying to sign up. anyways i am currently, slowly trying to reach my wife who is a born-in witness. I also have two daughters who attend meetings (just babies still). I am currently deciding whether i should stay a while and try and change those in the org like thise brothers of anointed jw. However it is getting increasingly hard to do so. My wife, when i first addressed the doubts i had (clearly explained my doubt was not in god but men who claim to be his mouthpiece. Anyways she threwtened to leave me if i left the org (Jehovah). And so i plan on using the 'new light' to open pandoras box by using publications and the NWT. Delicacy is key and i have discovered a few holes in her faith in the GB that i can use to hopefully open her eyes. The dagger for me was of course the new light but also the changes and hypocrisies involved between 1874 and 1975. Learning the true history was paramount to my doubt. Sadly im baptized and was never told of this history but shown a whitewashed versions if truth. I guess rutherford never realized the internet age would expose them. Any advice/comments welcome.
