  at the meeting last night i was approached by an elder and he asked me what my schedule was like for the next week or so.

  i told him im not sure ill have to tet back with him and i asked why and he said kindly but in an odd sort of way "for a visit".

  my wife and i have not gone out in field service and have been missing meeting left and right mostly due to sickness and family.

  the watchtower society is facing another major court case that will be necessary to resolve a $3 billion (australian dollars) class action lawsuit.

  this may be the most serious battle theyve waged in decades because they are actually facing serious criminal charges in a trial court in the state of victoria, australia.. filed on behalf of over 6,000 children, this class action investigation may unveil over 14,000 alleged serious criminal breaches of australian state and federal mandatory child protection laws over the past four years.

  charged with either ignoring or violating the law are elders and ministerial servants associated with kingdom halls of jehovahs witnesses.. the victoria state governments inquiry into the handling of child abuse by religions and other organisations is expected to hold a public hearing about this in early 2013.. .

  Interesting talk ith wife

  my wife expresssd to me as we watched a movie that she really loves how those in christianity dont have to meet requirements to become baptised.

  she stated the it seems morenin line with the scriptures.

  i agreed with her and brought up the story of cornelius and his family baptised the night he saw paul in the prison cell.

  How was Adam Perfect? He sinned....Duh

  well an elder brought this up with me and said he didnt understand how adam sinned if he was perfect.

  i said i dont see how he couldve sin ed if he was perfect....but he had free will to choose.

  i then told him that i thought if god wanted us to obey him the worst thing he could do was create us to have free will.....a side thought i had was:.

  Reading Captives of a Concept: Interesting what i read in CH3

  surely jesus would have noticed what they had been teaching about his second coming, or invisible presence as they prefer to call it.

  matthew 24:3 37 .

  today they teach that he returned to begin his second coming in 1914. but the proclaimers book explains that this was not what they were teaching before, during and for many years after jesus' inspection in 1918-1919. on pages 46 and 47 it explains that in 1876... .

  How did you get over.......

  your cognitive dissonance, particularly that with living out in the"world"?

  and any with children, how did you get over the fear of your kids interacting with other kids, bad habits, and the other fears with leaving the borg?

  just curious as i too have many moments of "oh god how will my kids grow up in this world?
