one of the reasons is that people are disturbed by what is happening in their churches.
yes, millions of persons have been shocked to learn that things they were taught as being vital for salvation are now considered by their church to be wrong.

I need help when answering proof of WT being only religion
by DS211 inok so i have already been talked to about this and i always have difficulty finding a retort.
my friend/elder condtantly tells me to visit bethel to prove its gods org--efficient, obedient, loving place, yadda yadda.
and he also uses how many go out and preach the same message, how no matter where you go youll get the same loving treatment, follow the bible as best they can (ha), show lots of love, do t celebrate pagan holidays, etc etc.

where in the heck d they get the "when we survive armageddon we will probably have to start rebuilding while we resurrect ones, teach them, plant food, clean the planet, and grow to perfection"????
doesnt the scripture say that we die corrupted but raised an incorruptible body?

Eve if it were true the only ones actually mentioned as being on earth upon mount zion is the 144,000. The great crowd is before the throne....and unless the thone itself has moved to earth, psalms brings out that that throne is in heaven. So before the throne would seem to put the GC in heaven. I dont like debating rev with anyone because one can draw many conclusions and correlations between the scriptures because of all the symbolisms.

so ive been learning about the differences between mind control abd brainwashing and also how much the wt correlates with these things.
now according to festinger, whom hassan quotes a lot, cognitive dissonance (three componants to mind control) requires only a change to behavior, thought, or emotions and the other two will follow suit.

Im reading Steven Hassans "Combatting cult mind control" and ive just had an "oooooooh sh@t" moment. So ive been learning about the differences between mind control abd brainwashing and also how much the WT correlates with these things. Now according to festinger, whom Hassan quotes a lot, cognitive dissoNance (three componants to mind control) requires only a change to behavior, thought, or emotions and the other two will follow suit. Now, the Wt utilizes behavior control but does it mostly through thought reform. Now, heres something Hassan says that shook me a little to the very core:
on thought control: "indoctrinating members so thoroughly that they internalize group doctrine, incorporating a new language system (pure language of the Bible maybe?), and using thought-stopping techniques to keep their mind centered" (hassan ccmc, page 61)..now what shook me most is the next statements: "the internalized as 'the truth', the only 'map' of reality....not only serves to filter incoming information but also regulates how the information can be thought about....dividing everything into 'black and white', 'us versus them.'"
and last "a member need not think for himself because the doctrine does the thinking for him"
Reminds me of when they said "oh we have brothers who do research so you wont have to".....

Yea a friend said to me once "well think of what mankinds done just in the last few hundred years....!certainly a thousand years is all youll need to fix things."..hmmm sounds almost better to stay dead.....and honestly it looks bad on the anointed and jesus' part if thats true. Thats like a kid coming in and wrecking your room and throwing paint all over your walls and your ma or dad saying "you better clean that mess up". So we have to clean up billions of dead bodies, trash, rubble, etc and Christ and the anointed will just watch and supervise? Sounds like ancient egypt...one may then conclude death to be the better option according to thrr belief.

No problem at all in fact it drives home every point i want to make! I just have to be subtle for my wife. But i will use the contradictions on "we are not speaking for God, yet claim to be his sole channel" rubbish with her. You either are or you are not. And if not then you have no right to utilize control over othersthought. For one it makes them unable to make "the truth their own" and "come to know" God and Christ as brought out by every Bible at John 17:3 and now the caught-up NNwt.
Between this and jwfacts ive got some good stuff t go on...thanks

Thanks mr. Quik. Ive been on JWfacts looking at that very same thing about false prohecies. Theres some fantastic WT articles stating specifically about bein a prophet, calling itself a prophetlike org, comparing itself to Jeremiah, john, and other prophets. The thing is even if they didnt actually state "were prophets" the things are spoken in the name of Jehovah, as they are named "Jehovahs Witnesses". And to be led by the Holy Spirit (i.e Gods spirit-led org) is to be inspired. To give years, dates times, months etc. Even if they use words such as "most likely, evdently, etc" misleads and stumbles others. And has anyone looked up the definition of inspired?

Doesnt the scripture say that we die corrupted but raised an incorruptible body? If its incorruptible? Where did witnesses get this? Again, i havent found anything in theBible about growing to perfection....
