Point blank James 3:1 not all should be teachers as theyll basically be held to a higher standard. As the WT makes this a priority ti teach, if they teach something false (like the old new light on the FDS) they are held to a higher account. Some are better suited to teaching, some prophesying (not many), and some with other things their gifts allow. Chriet never said ALL had to preach right? He spoke often to his disciples. And if he did give all the ckmmission to preach, then all Christians should be commisiondd to partake of the emblems...ONE HOPE, ONE baptism, etc etc.

And prayer...do they pray for all those involved? Not once in my 4 years going to meetings have they prayed for ANYONE outside the org. Now i will check that mag out but there are MANY christian-based charitable organizations out there. AS well as many orgs claiming to be the one True channel of God. I invite you to research the matter since you do seem to possess the good sense to do ACTUAL research and test what youre being taught.

I apologize emeth. When i say you, i mean YOU as in the organization. Does the organization encourage taking part in charities? If so they dont go into much where i am. In fact an entire talk was given about how we dont give to charitie ls Because we give the greatest charity in the world--the ministry. Wi dont disagree that its important to speak about Christ and God to upbuild and strengthen others to have faith, faithful acts can be displayed in MANY ways. I appreciate your efforts to help all people...unfortunately this is not a FOUNDATION for the organization. Hence, probably why God gas led you to this site, to this topic.

Emeth do you give to the poor? Even if they arent Jw? How about those older Jws who though (most of them have) the end was going to come and were encouraged by the FDS not to put extra money for retirement or not have a good paying job to take care of themselves later in life? Is fhere a fund for them? Do these individuals, who have taken a vow of poverty, have to provide for their own health insurabce somehow? If so is it Medicaid? if it is, is that Ethical or morally justified? Who knows right?
Plausible deniability is absoluteky rampant in the org. "We encourage you to pursue spiritual things" foregoing educstion that could benefit ALL and pay you a humble amount because Armagedeon is just around the corner. And yet when you become 80 and you start to realize it hasnt, where does that leave you?

....and actually the proper thing to do is analyze the situation and help the one who is hurt MOST. Yes your fleshly tendency os to spring to the one you know, but often we have to make choices that go against what our emotions tell us.
Acte of faith do not just mean rendering service by slavjng yourself in a mediocre door to door preaching work in which you spend more time in the car talking to your own than ACTUALLY preachng....Jesus said LOVE your neighbor AS YOURSELF. If you were the "worldly fella" and you were bleeding feom your carotid and the JW guy next to you is bruised badly and lethargic yet kinda stable....You may have minutes to live and another JW chdcks on him first and has a short chat....then after making sure hes stable "gets to you"....most likely hes missed a window of opportunity to help you. How would you feel as that worldly guy?
Thatd be a poor witness indeed should he survive.

the WT chang this from ither bibles that say something like "your throne, my god".either way to me the same meaning is implied....God is the position Christ would attain...
the WT also uses things like saviour and King towards both Jehovah and Christ.

now ut doesnt necessarily bring out that Christ became King at his ascension to Heaven. But according to some scholars it could mean that after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Again who can really be sure 100%. Based on the societies claims and twists and turns its most likely not 1914 lol. But since its claimed to be invisible i can tell you whatever and you cant verify.

I was at the meetng last night and there was something really pissed me off, and its an ongoing thing--the brother stood to the platform to pray a d asked for Jehovahs Holy Spirit to be with the brothers and sisters in the phillipines....catch that? Happens allthe time..what about the other individuals whos lives are taken, or the homes destroyed, or how about all the children who arent JW whos lives are completwly destroyed? Christ specifically said that you should pray for all people...not just love the o es who love you back. Its a true mark of false religion to me--pray for our own, who cares about the others...selfish.
