  now, what expressions does the original english watchtower use about time before and after jesus' birth?

  I know that you know a lot of the Wittness history. What was the reason to change those abbrevitations? Did JW theology become particularly more Jesus-denying during those years?

  I lost my job at Microsoft today...thanks to a wonderful economy...

  for the last few years, many of my friends have lost their jobs and have not found suitable replacements.

  most are on unemployment, and those whose unemployment has run out are simply eeking out some meager existence doing something they don't like, that doesn't pay well, and doesn't help to really reduce the stress they face every day.. well, to be honest, i used to laugh my ass off at them.

  ha ha ha i would say.

  There's a lively debate going on about expressions RE: chronology on the Finnish H2O. Now, what expressions does the original English Watchtower use about time before and after Jesus' birth? A.D. is not used, right? What is the syndrome to avoid all Christ-based expressions? Is it this all-time denial of Christ?

  In Finnish Watchtower, commonly used e.Kr. and j.Kr. (before and after Christ), are replaced with eaa. (Before common chronology's start) and ya. (common chronology). They avoid to use "Christ".

  So, what expressions do they use in Watchtower?

  i need to know how long i am supposed to bake pork chops.... i know they are better fried, but i dont want the kids to have all that gease... .

  Who eats meat these days? No one would starve if we all concentrated on vegetables. It takes 10 pounds of vegetables and grain to produce 1 pound of meat. And all the amount of food that is disposed of...

  i've read the bible and i don't recall satan himself actually ever doing anything evil or harmful... however i read many accounts where god killed or tormented countless thousands of people for arbitrary reasons.. aside from prophecies where jehover says that satan will hurt people in the future (hasn't happened yet, and no sign that it will happen), can anyone cite an example in the bible where satan actually harmed anyone?.

  countries are starting on thursday and ending on sunday.

  since i am not at home on the german election day i have already voted by letter.

  YES for voting. I have already voted in advance. I don't see voting as a duty but as a right.
