  1. have an apostate food truck outside with free burritos and shasta cola.. 2. wear a smurf costume and run across the stage.. 3. bikini car wash across the street.. 4. have an old-school breakdancing session on the corner, cardboard and all.

  bonus if you do it on a mat made of watchtowers and primary colored book covers.. 5. have a garage sale or flea market in the neighborhood during the afternoon session.. 6. sit in the audience and applaud everything that anybody says - try to get a standing ovation for each sentence of the closing prayer.. 7. put a recording of rap, heavy metal, or other forbidden music on instead of the kingdom melodies.. 8. get fifty of your friends to walk around in the stadium during the session, holding signs that say, "louder please!

  Some of the things from trigger happy tv would go down well.

  Imagine a phone going off in the sessions, a bloke standing up and putting a phone the size of his briefcase to his head and shouting at the top of his voice; "HELLO!....... YEAH, I'M AT THE ASSEMBLY...... NO, ITS CRAP, DEAD BORING...."

  Or have two people in animal costumes sprinting from opposite sides of the stadium to meet and have a huge fight in the middle.

  Or you could just stand outside in a lamb costume giving balloons out to the kids with slogans like 'silentlambs', ect.

  Last night I asked about getting reinstated...

  after the meeting last night italked to some of the elders in the car park, and asked what more i neede to do to get reinstated.

  they commended me on the things i've been doing (?

  ), and said the main point for reinstating would be how much contact i've been having with my fiance, who's still a wittness.

  For the last few weeks I've been talking to my fiance about this situation, and how it makes her feel, and also what she feels about the witnesses in general. Whilst she is so p***** off about what has happened, she thinks that this is a human failing, and not something to do with Jehovah. She doesn't want to follow every single rule in the past, and says she is weak, but wants being a witness to have a big part in her life in the future. This is after long discussions on hypocrisy among witnesses, constantly changing doctrines, ect. We split up tonight.

  have any of you watched this piece of shit?

  a little while ago, i saw it in my mom's video collection, and i popped it in just to see what it said.

  it was incredibly sad to see so many brainwashed youths.. the real life drama at the end was the worst perception of "the world" that i've ever seen.

  It'd be funny if you were skillful with video tape editing: IMAGINE the possibilities of splicing tapes with other tapes, and create your own Disfellowshipping offense ending.

  When I watched the video I was wishing I had enough equipment to be able to make a spoof version to switch it with.

  The study is "Christ speaks to the congregations", and the subtitles are; "To the angel in ephesus", "To the angel in Smyrna", and "To the angel of Pergamum".

  I have the study articles as word files and can email if you want a specific one.

  i was in the sussex circuit, can't remember which number though.

  Old WatchTower Magazines

  i was wondering where i can get some watchtower magazines, the really old ones where they teach about all those prophecies and stuff.

  i was thinking of collecting a few to show them to my jw friend, but i have heard they are hard to find.

  i have also heard about some magazines being in cd-roms, but i don't think a jw would accept that, i think they would want harder evidence.

  I found a lot on www.ebay.co.uk by putting watchtower into the search. The costed about £3 each ($5ish). They are based in the UK, but ship worldwide. Or you should be able to find some closer to home on the US ebay site.

  Also for UK - did your congregation do anything with other congregations?

  hi eveyone, did your congregation ever have organised gatherings with other congregations nearby?

  my old congregation rarley mixed.

  there was so little social life that we had no choice but to visit other congs.. another question - did you get any counsel if you constantly attended a kingdom hall other than the one you were assigned to?

  In my area there is a lot of mixing, but only if your part of the clique.

  In the Liverpool/Manchester area there is always big parties. I've been in pubs with hundreds of people in them, and 75% of them have been witnesses. I keep on getting invites to go to them, because no-one down there knows I'm df'd. There's 2 coming up in the next month.

  Murphy explained that the church members support the sentencing of the two men, and that Jehovah's Witnesses "never shield anyone from prosecution."

  Is this why the talk at the DC said you shouldn't believe all the news reports about the Witnesses?
