I'd say one excellent use for the dresded colorful socks would be to stuff one in Tony the Turd's pie-hole. Did he ever give an exact REASON for colorful socks being in his mind 'un-Christian'???? I guess in some future talk he will suggest that all Witnesses dress in Mao-style identical uniforms so as to achieve 'unity' in the congregations.

by LogCon ini find it curious that so many are offended at the comments used by anthony morris iii.. when he publicly states that colourful socks, tight pants and spanx are not part of a christians life, he is teaching a lesson.
the lesson for the flock is not to wear colourful socks, tight pants and spanx.. however,.
the lesson to all the congregation elders is to ensure that these lessons are driven home in their respective congregations.

There was only ONE guy in my congregation that I would"ve liked to have seen in tight pants. Or preferably no pants. All the rest wore the usual thrift-store reject outfits. The Witnesses definitely don't have the top specimens of male sexual attractiveness. Give me a tattooed, shaved-head guy and i'm happy.

If I ever decided to attend a JW meeting, I would for sure wear some 'colored' and 'patterned' socks, just to irritate the Elders. Should they have the gall to criticize them, I would reply: 'Where in the Bible does it mention the color of a person's socks??? People in Biblical days wore sandals. Should I wear those instead in order to be properly Biblical???' I hope those here who still attend meetings will wear colored socks to the upcoming meetings and report to us exactly how the Elders handle the 'problem'.

I have two take aways from the zoned out meeting

i was surprised there was no special annoucements or more new light.
the first thing is that we know that the org is having a difficult time having young males reach out to be a ministerial servents to carry microphones and adjust the height of the podium.

Got ratted out for celebrating Halloween...
by cognac inone of two things will happen.
i'll get disfellowshipped and never have to worry about being "told on" again for living a normal life, or; they won't do anything.. either way, it's freeing and i feel relieved... it will be sad if i get disfellowshipped but i've come to terms and made peace with it as much as can be expected.
it's a huge weight to have off.. was told on a week ago and haven't heard anything.

Regarding Halloween, what would happen if a JW happened to find a stray all- black cat, and decided to keep it as a pet. Would the Elders try to get the person to get rid of the black cat, saying it was Satanic or else a symbol of Halloween/Paganism? I just KNOW this has to have happened somewhere. Personally, I would tell those Elders to lick the cat's litter box and then f-off.
