I extend a small measure of sympathy.
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. inallow me to extend a minute amount of symapthy to the forum members who waited with excitement the recent special jw meeting and attended.
perhaps it met your expectations?.
and, i almost, repeat, almost, feel sorry for those poor sods who deem it necessary to read the so called 'new' jw bible translation, and searching for all of the 'differences' from past releases.

" the work of others researching the lies of the wts in no way influenced my decision to leave the jws back in the late 80's (were you even alive then?). I just had enough of pricks wanting to control my life. No more." If I have offended you, well that is fine."
Holey Cheeses. There is an element of what you say that I think applies in a lot of our cases. I did'nt like the control from this organization I felt growing up in it. I was Dfed in 1985 for Brazenley asking questions. You certainly did not offend me though. I know, reading some of the comments on here can make someone at times feel a sense of exasasperation. I try to be as civil as possible though.
P.S. If something thats said here offends you let me know what it is. I might want to offend you again some day.

BUM WITNESSES
by The Searcher incan anyone save me the stress of listening to the self-appointed faithful & discreet slave for 3 hours, and give a clue as to roughly at what point in the proceedings was the derogatory term 'bum witnesses used, and by whom?
i'd really love to extract that comment and send it to a weakening witness, to highlight the judgmental arrogance and name-calling being displayed.. many thanks in advance folks!.

"Or they're looking too far into something said from the platform or in the literature. Just like the 1975 self-victims. They read one little thing and all of a sudden they thought the end was coming in 75". Now they're doing it all over again."
These must be some of the same people that instead of looking too far into 1975, could'nt look far enough to 1995 and realize that" This generation will by no means pass away" actually means several generations not one. I agree stand for pure how short sighted these people are. LOL

Theist who know science... Out there? Let's talk about "Macroevolution"
by Comatose inhttp://kaimatai.blogspot.co.nz/2013/07/lets-talk-about-macroevolution.html?m=1let's talk about "macroevolution" one of the recent creationist gambits is the invention of the macro and micro-evolutionshibboleths.
this is a convenient way to act like ahypocrite- by accepting "microevolution" they can continue to use modern antibiotics and crops.
by rejecting "macroevolution" they get to cling on to their beliefs.. .

P.A.M Dirac quotation, do the writers actually read the articles from which they quote?
by VM44 inthe awake magazine quoted the physicist p.a.m dirac while discussing how the periodic law of the elements gives evidence for the existence of a designer.. g00 8/22 pp.
5-9 peering into the unseenwhat is revealed?.
a close study of the elements and how they fit together to form everything in the universe caused famous physicist p.a.m. dirac, who was a professor of mathematics at cambridge university, to say: one could perhaps describe the situation by saying that god is a mathematician of a very high order, and he used very advanced mathematics in constructing the universe.. the quotation originally appeared in the may 1963 issue of scientific american in an article entitled "the evolution of the physicists picture of nature," and may be read online at this address:.

Growing up as a born in I was a big fan of Scientific American. I had to hide these magazines from my parents LOL. I am sure when the article said that "god was a mathamatician of very high order" it was meant in the figuartive sense. Sort of like "God doesnt play dice with the universe.
