what sort of reactions have you gotten when talking to other jw when telling them the "truth about the truth"?

its funny ive read some stories on here about how they have become so infuriated by what logic dictates as being true and their own denying of it because it completely screws up their belief and shows how hypocritical it is xd some look like a nuclear reactor about to blow xd.

My mom could care less at her age, and to be in the "Truth" for 40+ years. I talked to her about ti, she shrugged, she knows that much of the WT is BS, but for her leaving WT would mean the end of her social life. She has friends there, she gets out to various KH and assemblies, plus much of my family is in who will shun her as aunt. Two my cousins are elder. She told me that it does not matter at this point because she dedicated a lot of money and life to it.

My siblings reject TATT, but they agree that it has some valid point, but they have not crossed the decisive point, like they are afraid of it.

My cousins are deeply in and they will run with hands over their ears if they hear it.

Czech Republic has two climate types, depending on the elevation and proximity to the Northern Sea/Black Sea. Most of the country is at a elevated plateau having harsh winter, and wet summer. This is valid for Sudeten Mountains, and for a region delineated by line Dresden-Prague-Linz. This is zone 5B-6A. The area around Karlovy Vary is very cold and even in summer can experience a frost. This is caused by cold air sinking into the valley. Bavaria across Bohemian-Bavarian mountains has also one of the coldest temperature in Germany.

Eastern part (Zone 6B to 7A) of the county has continental climate, it is a part of the Pannonian basin with low precipitation and a short winter. My grandparents were from southern Moravia where my ancestors lived there since the Middle Ages. They had vineyards under Palava hills, they grew almonds, apricots, peaches, water melons, asparagus, tomatoes, paprika, artichokes, butter squash without problems. Some people were also successful with propagating figs. If I even decide to live back in CZ, than the option will be either Prague for a quality of life or southern Moravia around Palava due good weather and peaceful tranquility among the vineyards.

Half banana, I live in the Eastern part of USA. Here, the crape myrtles grow from Washington DC south and along the coast up to Delmarva peninsula. My M-I-L lives in New Jersey at the shore, and she was not successful with crape myrtles at all. There suppose to be a new varieties hardy to zone 6 (Washington-New York City), but I do not think they been proven considering we can see the winter temperature as lows as -20C in NJ. Crape Myrtles do well in hot humid summer, which is most of the eastern part of USA along the coast between Texas to Delaware. I never seen a crape myrtle in Europe. I have also chaste tree and this grow well. I can see them as well in the Czech republic around Prague and southern Moravia.

My story with rhodos: We had utility dig and they destroyed last year a row of rhodos along the house. I had replaced it with another one, but I think it did not get established and is suffering. I am lucky with traditional USA based rhodos like catawbiense which grew into huge size over these years. However, other imported plants had not established. I had rhodo Novaya Zemlja and it died, because it could not tolerate the summer heat. Mountain laurels are known to be difficult. I have one well established, but the plant next to it died this winter. I have not seen many people planting them because they are plants for a higher elevation and do not get well established along Eastern seaboard. I see a lot of mountain laurels up the Shenandoah, Blue Ridge mountains and West Virginia like Dolly Sod Wilderness.

i haven't seen anyone stopped for speeding on our freeways in some time.. wth it's dangerous out there, i'm driving 69-72 mph and someone pass me at 80-85 mph.. here in southern ca it,s crazy.

the speed limits are 65-70 mph.

About ten years ago, I was driving on I-70 and was about to exit, when a got behind a truck which had brick pallets on the back. On the exit, one of the pallet snapped, and the bricks started to fall all-over, hitting my car and damaging two wheels on passenger side.

The worst slow drive? Route 1 from Miami to Key West. I was driving with my mom and somewhere in Key Largo a car cut infront of me and drove waayyyy below the speed limit. After 30 min we pulled into some of the islands and enjoyed a picnic. Any way, I was able to caught up with the driver :)). Another bad drive is a route 6 in Cape Code to Provincetown. If you get behind the camper, it is impossible to pass in miles on single-lane road.

It was very warm day, about 80F and nature is in fully spring mode. I see even my crape myrtle to bud leaves. I finished mulching all my backyard, and I had replaced my dead mountain laurel. I also bought bunch of dahlias so I will plant them in my sunny side of the backyard. Lilly-of-the-valley are out, phlox is blooming, and daphne has recovered from a winter.

My big disappointment is one of the rhododendron, it started to drop leaves, so I am not sure if it will survive. On the good note, my bumblebees are awaken from the winter, and I also seen butterflies. Lawn looks great, last year I had more damage from the winter.

DJS, depending on state, driving bellow the speed limit can be a traffic violation and can be ticketed. It is also dangerous because they cause backlog and a traffic jam. When I am driving on the left lane to by-pass and some gets behind my ass, I move back to the right and let them pass. I am not a traffic controller to block people from driving faster than me. Once on radio I heard that there were elderly that deliberately drove on Interstates to block traffic with idea that they make the highway safer, and could not comprehend to be arrested by state troopers.

European countries have higher speed limits than the USA. Some states in USA have terrible, slow moving drivers that you see signs posted for minimum speed limit (Florida, South Carolina). There are people who literally drive 35m on left shoulder and blocking traffic. I take Interstate every day for work, and the demographics for slow moving drivers are generally well known. In rush hour, the traffic is literally bumper to bumper and I drive 12 miles for one hour in some cases.

If anyone complains about the speed, he or she should try German's autobahn with extremely high speed. I did not have a speeding ticket for 20 years, but if the speed limit is 55 to 65 on interstate I will be driving it. There is no reason except if there is weather problem or a visibility issue to drive below the speed limit. The worst drivers in USA in experience - Seattle, Florida, and Maryland. Nothing worse than driving between Seattle and Tacoma, and everyone is driving 40mph. Florida with elderly population is a chapter of its own. Even local roads have posted minimum speed limit, because people are literally matching there the speed of bicycle.

My tulips already bloomed out. I have still one brand that still bloom, but the major pink, red, yellow are already gone. I cut several of them and had them on my vase. I also pinch flowers from camellia, and I put them into bowl of water and they float there for a several days. I am waiting for irises and blue bells to bloom out, they are already budded, but so far they had not opened the flowers. Next week, we should have close to 80F weather, but yesterday we had sudden low morning temperature just around 40F. My hydrangeas suffered from the sudden cold and I hope they will come back. I also have forget-me-not in full bloom, and some flowers that look like pink crocosmia. One thing I noticed this week was the amount of bees and yellow jackets had on my backyard. I am still waiting for my bumble bees. They have a nest under my shed. They chew through old wood there and they are nesting there for years, but so far, I have not seen them yet out.

Bleeding hearts do not like warm, subtropical weather. I have them in the shaded part of the yard, which only receives a sun at the sunset. They go back year after year. I had also a white colored bleeding hearts, but they stopped to appear after a several growing seasons. Bleeding hearts are poisonous, but there is a myth that they have healing properties. While ago there was a woman who had serious poisoning from them because someone recommend it as a herbal remedy.

So, I spent a couple hours to mulch my flowerbed; I use cedar barks as I had bad experience with other types of the mulch in the past. So far, rodeos do not bloom yet, but I think they will open up their flowers in 10 days. We had near frost temperature last two days, and some leaves look burned by it, but the date-time high was close to 70F today, so I hope all will be ok. What is interesting that my bleeding hearts and pink phlox started to bloom early, while forget-me not, lily of the valley, and astilbe did not. They usually bloom in May.I planted some calla lilies, they are hit or miss, some year they will bloom, and some year I do not even know I have them in the flowerbed. I am on the northern edge of the climatic zone, and they do only well on sunny side of the house, and shield from the cold air.
