  Has anyone been outed by jw health care workers?

  carrying on from audespare thread.

  i was wondering how common it is for a sinner/apostate to be outed by a babbling jw care worker?

  say you went to your dr because you were pregnant and unmarried or wanting counseling for having to live a double life as a pretend jw... and a jw secretary at the drs office saw this on your file and went tattling to the elders?.

  Not sure where you're based but if that happened in the U.K...

  This happened in Czech Republic more than 20 years ago. I am not sure what are the laws there for medical confidentiality, but I believe they have already implemented standard EU norms so this case would be well suited for lawsuit or even for criminal charges.

  my wedding was not what either of us wanted at first, but it turned out very lovely.

  I am married to Orthodox Jew, but I did not have religious ceremony at all. Nobody from my family came. We tried to keep small, but we had more people than we expected.

  In my congregation they did outed people. We had several JWs working in medical field and they did outed other JWs. My relative had issue with difficult pregnancy which lead to a miscarriage. JW nurse who worked in the facility saw her there and insisted that she had an abortion. She never saw her medical chart, nor treated her, but she knew she was pregnant and was no more. My relative who is very devote JW was called in front of BOE and had to present a proof that she had indeed miscarriage. She was extremely psychologically devastated as she wanted to have a child but lost it, but the elders did not care. The JW nurse was praised for putting KH purity ahead of her medical profession and confidentiality,

  all you can do is reason from the scriptures, which you appear to have done.

  homosexuality is as serious as bestiality, or adultery and fornication.

  I generally do not get preoccupied with private sexual life of two individuals and what they do in consensual way in their privacy regardless of their orientation. It is not my business, and why it should be yours... !?

  I use tall fescue grass mix, and I seed three different types depending on the sun/shade. I have different grass for shade and for heavy traffic. It took me five seasons to be happy with the lawn. I have two areas where I am not lucky to get grass establish too well, one is due depression which hold water, and other is due neighbor's dense shaded tree.

  My brother died last night

  i found out this morning that my brother died last night, he was also an ex jw, 73 years old and died of heart disease and kidney failure.

  it was not totally unexpected, as he had been in poor health, but it's a blow, especially as i just lost another brother two years ago.

  there were six of us, now only four.

  It is raining for 14 days, and I am tired of it. I need to do some yard projects, but I cant paint a shed in the rain. However, lawn just loves all the water.

  As blondie had mentioned, WT had numerous dates from 1799 till 1881 (1874+7) and it was always explained backwards not a forward event. WT was not aware that Jesus selected them until 1918/1919 after he spent 3.5 years examining the Christian religion and found its follower among couple crazies in USA charged with sedition.

  I do not hate them, would not physically hurt them, but will not approve of the behavior. It is abhorrent.

  Whatever two adults do in the privacy of their bedroom is not your concern, and certainly does not require your or anyone approval.
