Classic situation at Circuit Assembly Day

) who's sat with what looks like his late-30's harassed single parent mother.

Anyone remember LP album circa 68 with Awake on back cover?
by cabasilas ini have a memory of some rock artist of the 60s placing a pic of herself and some guy in bed and her reading an awake magazine on the back cover.
it could have been "is time running out for mankind" or something like that.

It's Going Down: The Family Is About to Go to War Over... Halloween Decorations.

despite other personal turmoil that needs to be addressed, my family has decided to go nuts over halloween decorations being "too close" to our yard.
a new family just moved in next door; their kids are super young.

I'm starting a Counter-Watchtower magazine
by Counter-Watchtower inim starting a counter-watchtower magazine for everyone to give to their jw friends and family or just to give to those that come to your door.
the first issue is about the history of pyramidology of c.t.
russel and under the start of rutherford along with some other things like pointing out the fact that no one knows the translators of the nwt or writers of the watchtower, "the two very things relied on to teach you".. its writen in such a way to be very repectful but to make the reader think, and hopefully the light come on.

New light!.....DFed without being DFed
by Tight Pants Twinkle Toes init now appears that the wt can df you just by marking you.
this happened to my me and my wife a few week ago.
a marking talk was given at the mid-week meeting in which no names were mentioned yet a detailed description of the "offending bastards" was delivered so that there as no doubt who this "pond scum" might be.

I was summoned to a JC and just kept excusing myself from attending any of their proposed dates and times until they sent me a final SMS saying if I did not attend that one they would proceed without me [Now go ponder that too - ie we have predestined the outcome anyway]
I told them that I was most interested in coming before them and would attend this finale.
So I then sent them an Attorneys letter in which the Attorney informed them that he would be representing me at this JC and that he thus required "all the relevant files, info, documents, charge sheet" etc etc
They never came back after that !
BUT My wife and I are Totally Shunned by them anyway. I have no knowledge of whether they held a Marking Talk before this time ?
Don't be scared to spend a $$ or 2 and get a legal person involved /
Lawyer also cautioned them not to permit any scandal, gossip etc to be made against us or else...

Finland Knife attack: 2 dead, one of them a Jehovah's Witness

one of the deceased was a jehovah´s witness woman who was preaching in the square.. where was jehovah protecting her?

Have you noticed this trend on social media amongst witnesses...?
by stuckinarut2 init seems that every 2nd witness often posts pictures of themselves at conventions, or out in 'service'.
but i have noticed that they never seem to post anything about the actual "spiritual content" of their activity!
instead, it is pictures of them with their witness "friends", along with some contrite comment like #bestlifeever (arrghhh).
