  Crazy JW urban legend

  a sure guarantee that this was bogus (really, any reasoning is required at all?

  ) was that it did the rounds applied to john denver, annie lennox and others.. basically, they relied on satan (oh yes) for their musical ability (i knew it) and any jws in the audience would be asked to leave because ... (drum roll) ... they blocked the signal to satan so couldn't perform with them present!.

  anyone else remember that gem?.

  every week the same brothers and sisters are late getting to the meeting.

  elders are talking with other elders ( who always have notes and folders in their hands).

  Do you look like the apostate they warned you about?

  after waking up and wanting to get out of this nightmare, the word apostate is really bothering me.

  if i quitely become inactive, fade away will i just be looked at as "always weak".

  i want to scream out how big a fool i was.. and now telling my poor young daughter how wrong i was to bring her up as a jw.

  The word apostate is used by JW's like people who go into a rant at someone with abusive labels trying to manipulate them and gaining power over them.

  Just don't give into it ,be content with what you now believe

  I Want Your Thoughts On This: A 80 Year Old Man Lost His Wife....

  and within a month, he has been seeing a 69 year old woman who lived upstairs from him.

  .

  the wife has been sick for a year and she passed away in october.. now, the 80 year old man is like a teenager with this woman, making out in public places with this woman and introducing her to family and friends as his new girlfriend that he "loves".. the father's family thinks this is weird and are concerned about it.. any thoughts?

  ok i know some of you are going to mock me but i don't give a shit and you'd better get dafaq outta this thread if you don't beleive in this stuff.. .

  so,you ever seen somethin strange?shadow people?felt cold spots?touched by something you can't see?beaten by an unseen force?heard voices/whispers/growls/screams etc?are you sure about it or was it just your imagination?you ever been into the occult?c'mon share your experiences and stories!personally i've never had an encounter with the other side..

  These days I try to find a scientific or just simply a logical reason for something odd happening instead of ,when I was a witness , blaming satan and the demonz. Quite often though there's an explanation when really looking into it instead of just being in fear .

  But ....here is a rough list of things my parents experienced and my self

  1 parents in England had poltergiest problems for some time - smashing things and throwing in front of them

  2 Mother could talk to woman friend in Canada by telepathy and confirm it by letters exchanged later and compared to notes I made at the time of telepathy ( this was when I was a child of about 8)

  3 Friend of my mother was a Yogi who levitated at our house ,I also flies bouncing away from him as if some shield protected him (weird)

  4 when a teenager my girlfriend cursed at a moving car with her friend and it smashed into a light pole (I did'nt witness this)

  5 At one stage when encouraged by my mother to develope powers with others I witnessed lights being turned on objects moving and a oija board session with other kids and my mother , acomplete letter was copied down from supposebly her dead friend but only when i cast my hand over the board with no one touching the up turned drinking glass used for a pointer

  And lots more ,these things led me to get the JWs to give me answers as to how this can happen ,I left years ago and some things I have found an explanation that I have'nt listed here hope this helps

  I downloaded the UN letter about the NGO status of the society years ago and been unsuccessful in showing elders so I keep it by the door if any publishers come around ,feel like I've had a brand new tool going to waste

  Been on here for years with different ID's [Forgotten passwords] I am thankfull for a place that gave me an avenue of info that opened my eyes to the doubts I had developed about the org.

  Along that road I was insulted by some including one person who was a moderator but I got over it ,maybe I was wrong

  But it it can't be an unforgiving place because its composed of people some good some bad - reject the bozos and you are left with the good , in my opinion an unforgiving place does'nt help you find freedom and peace of mind
