hi guys last night i posted this here but only a few notes as it was quite fresh and only announced lasdt night at the meeting.i have now updated article and included a couple of useful links about this matter .

I can see how you think this may all be blow out of proportion. However, the WT wants their cake and wants to eat it too. they want each congregation to be a separate entity so as to avoid lawsuits. however, they also want to be able to tell each congregation exactly what to do (under the disguise of "they have the choice"). at the end of the day, the WT is telling individual JWs to do whatever is requested of them through the heiarchy. Eventually, governments are going to get their nose in this business that is going on and will wise up that it is in essense a type of ponzi scheme.

it would be different if each congregation was encouraged to be autonomous (like in Russell's day). then i could understand all this making complete sense.

i posted here a week ago some disturbing news for congregations being consolidated in britain.

my goodness that was nothing !

a letter was read today from bethel addressed to all congregations in britain that can only be described as the biggest news for years.the main points:.

Get out of the 5013c churches everyone! They are state sponsored! Do some research on 5013c churches! The Beast ate up the Harlot already and controls the religious masses!

They took 10s of thousands from our recent hall that was marked for a new KH locally and sent it to the branch on the COs 'advice' where the branch would 'hold it' for the congregation. LOL.

Only you and your spouse can decide what is best for your family. You have to weigh the FACTS and decide whether being a JW is right for you. However, all you have mentioned is the "exciting" things in the organization. This concerns me.

As a stay at home mom, may I suggest trying homeschooling your child, joining PTA, helping out in the classroom, voulenterring for hospice, etc.

It sounds like you are bored. Seek out moral, fun, happy people through groups on meetup.com . Enjoy your children! You won't get this time back!

My wife would be willing to email anytime. We have young kiddos.

Very interesting that Paul, an Apostle directly commissioned by Jesus, writes this scripture. How much less would the Governing Body, who makes no claims of Apostolic succession, be "masters over" JW's "faith".

I guess the problem, DOC, is that according the JWs you have to be baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in an assembly or convention after answering all their baptismal questions. So, if you dont agree, why would you ever get baptized? Thus, you would be out of the "ark".
