Would anyone of the GB leave their Lofty, Luxurious, Salaried, hefty allowance, insured, admired, idolized, Business class lifestyle and become an apostate. Hardly.
Anyway to answer your question, I would be happy to see any GB as an apostate and would greatly commend him for his guts and honesty.

There was always one question that I wanted to ask a Jew. Are you completely fine in accepting the blood shed rampage performed by Moses, Joshua, David, Samuel in your Holy book ? If you say that God commanded them how are you so sure ? Even if God commanded, how can you accept that God as a loving one ?
Even terrorists today slaughter in the name of God, and claim that their God commands it.

Why cant Jesus give a weeks notice to all the media of the world and then descend from heaven with all his glory and pomp, so that this would be broadcast live in 4K Ultra HD, through out the world.
After landing on earth, he could redo his spectacular miracles like resurrecting some (really good) people who had died, walk on water(New York to London on the Atlantic) and feed all the hungry ones with 2 loaves and 3 fish.... All live streamed in the media.. This would end all debates and for sure I would Join the Jesus club.

100% will say there are no apostles from the 1st century alive today.
The only outcome is that the second coming was in 70ad in that generation in which some were still alive
I don't believe the 70 AD coming, which was as fictitious as any other event in the Bible .
Also have serious doubts about the first coming of Jesus. Why didn't Jesus write a portion of the Bible Himself ? If his miracles were true, it would have been known worldwide then.
i speak semi-regularly to an old friend of mine who i would describe as a super-dub.. he knows i am inactive but over the years i have peppered him with a lot of questions about the org.
that i hoped would make him at least pause and think somewhat rationally about the reality of being a jw in this brave new- post gb 2.0 world.. we have discussed everything from the generation changes, to the u.n. , failed prophecy, flip flops, the reduction in size of the wt magazine, the closing/ consolidation of bethels including lay-offs, jw broadcasting, cart witnessing- etc, etc.. what do i mean by super-dub?

I too had a super Dub friend, who helped me a lot when I was in and hates me more now, after I left.
My final conversations with him regarding TTATT provoked a lot of anger in him and he acted as a Sub-GB to make my other JW associates hate and shun me. I still email him, reassuring my love for him but he never responds.

They will thank Jehovah for a meeting, or convention, but overlook the bus load of witnesses that got killed or injured while on their way to attend!
I was told by a JW that this happened in South Africa and some who survived started to think and became apostates. Many times, I would hear sisters thanking Jah for a Bible study he gave them.
yesterday’s watchtower talked about how by becoming a jw it enabled “worldly” people to ‘strip off the old personality’ and make really significantly good changes in their life.. paragraph named 4 individuals (anonymous names of course and probably embellished tales)) sakura, ribeiro, stephen, and hans.
their lives changed for the good because they found god or because they became jw’s---right?.
so on the way home from this wt meeting, my wife commented to me how wonderful our brotherhood is and how it helps people who would otherwise be ‘lost’ n this world.
I know a few people who became fervent Christians (Not JW) after living a nasty life. Some profess that Jesus advised them to repent and come clean. It's in all the religions, especially Christendom.

When I was in, I was literally tired and irritated to look up John17:3 from the Bible, every time, when referenced from the podium
In my experience that was the most repetitive verse I had heard in that religion . Everyone knows by heart what that verse is and I would wonder why the heck we need to open the Bible and see it over and over and over...and over . If we don't look it up from the Bible, we are looked upon by suspicion . Oh holy heaven!!!
