i can only imagine what they do off camera now!!!.
i would not have even considerd doing such a thing on the dance floor with a woman, especially if it was not my wife, and i'm not even one of the so called "annointed" smh!!!

Ironically it was the one I heard by an elder today I actually wrote it down to make a post about it later, so thanks for this thread.
This is the comment in his exact words:
By meditating on this article about apostates today, when we are approached by someone with some information that doesn't sound quite right, our minds will automatically DEFAULT (yes he said default) to this article and we will know how to respond and avoid such persons.

by ADJUSTMENTS inthe wbats and their gb have done some major pr damage control with the "old" new light of the overlapping generation in 2010, and the recent new light of the fds arrangement in 2013, it has helped stave off some of their bleeding.
i can remember at the time when it was first announced it went completely over my head, i didn't even bat an eye or loose a step.
i just didn't understand at the time (not completely understanding jw doctrine and chronology, and just what the jw cult leadership bets on for the rank and file when releasing new light) how critical of a so-called "adjustment" that was, until several years later and being able to finally see some old light through research and connecting the dots.

Leaving quietly, exactly good point, it's deja vu!!! For every generation it's a new set of rules and a whole new hype to keep this ponzi scheme afloat!
The WT today and the comments along with the mood of the congregation was quite telling, I plan to put it in words and post on it later as I took notes of the comments during the meeting, it was different from what I expected. It left me with a lot to ponder today...

using old biblical references just so as to prevent anyone from using critical thinking skills and analysing the "truth".. then using incorrect, leading reasoning to paint any who "think outside of the box" of the org as "apostate".... pure manipulation!.

It is very creepy to think about...

We can't forget about their constant and ever ready, age old standby, "THE END IS VERY SOON!" quote, which everytime it is stated the rank and file think to themselves: Will it be next week? It's a cult mind control brainwashing trigger to keep everyone panting like a Dog in heat.
Who could forget the campaign several years ago with the tract stating "THE END OF FALSE RELIGION IS NEAR!" that tract alone bought them at least 5 years with the rank and file. They are nothing more than a doomsday CULT with a smile. So it's just a constant PR spin and damage control that the WBATS repeats to keep them and the rank and file chugging along. I'm not sure what other magic tricks they can pull out of that hat to stop the bleeding? The AGM is near so I guess we will have to wait and see...

Prediction of large drop in JW numbers in 2014
by VM44 ini am going to make the prediction, here and now in mid 2006, that there will be a significant drop in the number of jehovah's witnesses in the year 2014, the one hundredth anniversary of 1914.. the only way this drop in numbers might be avoided is if the watchtower society can think up some way to stir up the rank and file and get them motivated to do more, like they did with the 1975 fiasco.. .
i doubt very much that the watchtower magazine is going to proclaim loudly in the year 2014 anything about the "generation of 1914" not passing away.. --vm44
