R. Jerome Harris, can you please show where in the Bible it says this " removed from God's memory. If one is not in God's memory, that person does not exist, not even as a dead person."
If what you say is true:
"The Lake of Fire (Second Death) is a symbol of nonexistence."
If this is only a symbol, then how can the devil, the beast and the false prophet be tormented day and night forever and ever? If they do not exist, as you say, then what torment is there for them? They would not even be aware of their lack of wrong doings.
Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."
"The sin we commit when we are fully knowledgeable knowing good and bad is
what is called the "unforgivable sin" or "the sin that cannot be
forgiven."
Please back this claim with scripture
"Any bad act anyone commits today will be forgiven because WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING."
So what you are saying is that the likes of Hitler and these crazy people shooting everyone get the same prize at the end of their life??
"Christ can no longer ask the Father in our behalf in those future days,"
But this is not what scripture says. Hebrews 7:24&25 say Jesus is able to save forever those who draw near to God.
Hebrews 7:24 but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."

Explaining away the increase in anointed
by lurkernomore inso i was just informed by my wife that her grandmother (who's also out) has been told by a 'sister' from her old hall that during their most recent circuit visit the co said something along the lines of:.
isn't it faith strengthening that the number of anointed is falling in relation to the increase in publishers?

What would happen if a group of people came to the memorial, I mean like 25 people, and partook. Isn't there only a small amount passed around? what would they do if it was gone? Taken by the 25 or 30 or whatever it took? would the whole thing come to a screeching halt in order to refill? I've never been to the memorial so I don't know. -

The Plurality of God in Old Testament
by Clambake ini am not going to claim to be any kind of bible expert or a good writer or anything like that but do you ever notice how the wts has completely whitewashed this idea or anything relating to this..
from the beginning of the bible in the beginning god said let us make man in our own image , to the term elohim which literally means gods , to the angel of the lord in the old testament which is identified to being with god and god himself.
it is just kind of interesting when you read the book of john in the new testament and you start to read things like the word was with god and the word was god or no one has seen the father only the son it kind of makes sense without really fully understanding it.

I like your thinking. What about Jehovah sending fire from Jehovah at Genesis 19:24?
If you read the original manuscripts and not the NWT, it literally states : "and Yahweh caused it to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from Yahweh from the heavens"
Funny how the RNWT has changed the scripture to say "then Jehovah made it rain sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah-it came from Jehovah, from the heavens"
The difference is subtle, but its there. The original states fire by Yahweh from Yahweh, where as the RNWT tries to remove this and keep with a singular view, Jehovah.
The obvious is that Yahweh is the one causing this, who else could? So why would Moses need to write from Yahweh also? -

Really does it matter what day Jesus was born? Nope not really. The fact of the matter is that He was. How bad is it that we get a couple days off from work, to celebrate the birth of our Lord? Do JW's go to work anyway, or do they take that day off? I think they should not accept the day off or any other "perk".
While writing this, something came to mind. This has been my experience so it could be different for all of you, but I have noticed that the JW's have a costume party for the kids not on Halloween, but a week or two after. They have Turkeyday, not on thanksgiving mind you, a few days or a week later. Present day seems to come around a couple weeks after Christmas. Really? Do they think they are fooling anyone? I actually slipped up and said something about the costume party thing, " oh, this is the halloween party not on halloween?" and the comment was totally ignored.
They like to play the game that they don't do this or that, but do it anyway and call it something else.

Who the Great Crowd Are Baptized To
by lambsbottom ingreat crowd jws are not baptized like the annointed are.
the great crowd's baptism does not wash them of their sins, making them sinless, until way after armageddon (1,000 year rule).
but the annointed are washed of their sins being 'sinless', as the recent wt study stated.

I love this place.
It has shown me so much, and given me much more understanding as to the JW mind.
Thank you all.

My question is this then, at Romans 8:9-11 it states
" 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you "
Ok, so if the GC is not baptized into Christ, then they do not have the Spirit of God in them and have no life in them and will NOT be given life.
Is this what the WT is trying to say?
It IS what the Bible says.

I had an aunt that was/is applying to go. I asked her why she has to apply? If she has to go on her own dime and find her own accomodations, then what exactly is she waiting for?

OneEyedJoe, that was exactly what I was going to say. The other part is, where in the Bible does it distinguish fractions of blood?
