  The hypocrisy is the wt themselves. They make claims against other "churches" that they themselves do. Example:

  Child abuse/pedophilia from among their clergy and the cover up of it to save face. They loved it when the Catholics got caught, but now they're dealing with the SAME thing.

  "Oh, but the wt doesn't have a clergy!" -----they're called elders and circuit overseers and minstrial servants, etc. Same thing!

  Who are YOU to determine what others consider respectful? If one (singular or plural) feels not worthy of uttering God's name, who are you to condemn that? What business is it of yours? The wt claims that the Jews distorted the Bible by not including God's name. Who wrote it in the first place? JEWS! Talk about distortion, "Jehovah" was NEVER in ANY Greek manuscript of the New Testament, NEVER! That is the insertion by uneducated wt writers from a name created by a Catholic Monk in 1287.

  Jehovahs Witnesses condemn Christian Religions .In reality Christian religions are Caring for Aged JW`s.

  who are looking after the aged and infirm jehovah`s witnesses ,?

  its certainly not the organization known as the wtb&ts ./jehovahs witnesses religion .. and why is that ?

  satans system of things with jehovahs blessing , has programs to look after those who have such needs , such as the dole for unemployed ,medical assistance for those who cant afford it ,and their are many charitable institutions that look after those that fall in the cracks.

  the first thing I thought of when reading this is:

  Isn't that exactly the case when it comes to taking some blood fractions? Who donated that blood they took? Not them.

  Memorial Attendances This Year

  have attendance figures at this year's memorial been released yet, including number of partakers?

  sometimes the kingdom ministry (now called christian life and ministry) provided local figures say for the country.. for two to three years the worldwide figure has hovered around the 19 plus million, with a drop off in attendance last year.. just wondered if there has been any change this year or if the downward trend has continued?

  Nu-light on Heb 4:12 - "Word of God" == God's purpose as expressed in the scriptures

  watchtower has historically interpreted heb 4:12 as emphasizing the power of the holy scriptures to bring about changes in an individuals heart and actions.

  most christian faiths take the "word of god" to mean jesus and his teachings.. now in the sept 2016 study wt we have new light!

  The best way for a witness to wake up, is to simply read the societies own older publications!

  once again the society is on a push to scare witnesses away from doing any research, or "stumbling" upon any "apostate" material (from workmates, neighbors, or online).

  however, the most enlightening, mind blowing and eye opening things are found simple by reading the early publications themselves!.

  read how ct russel, (the supposed channel god was using) had the most far fetched and laughable ideas, such as obtaining pivotal dates by measuring the pyramids of egypt!...

  Lurking JWs: Do people really need to know and use the word "Jehovah" or other language equivalents, to truly know God?

  watchtower puts forth the argument that you can't really know god unless you know and use the appellation "jehovah" or its equivalent in other languages.

  is this really true?

  i say it's not true and i will demonstrate to you why.. god's name is not a mere label that we have to use to communicate with him so that he knows we're talking to him.

  ok, here is one that I have asked many JW's and they usually turn on me real quick. In the Bible teach book, it says that "true" worshipers teach others about God's name, his purposes, and his qualities. - pg 148. on page 147 it spells out the qualities of "true" worshipers.

  ok, now here is my question, if this defines what a true worshiper is, were Abraham, Issac and Jacob "true" worshipers?

  The answer is usually yes, of course they were. I then ask them to read Exodus 6:2. Here is Exodus it clearly states that God told Moses that He appeared to Abraham, Issac and Jacob as God Almighty, and God never told them His name. So the revelation of God's name was only from Moses onward. Since Abraham, Issac and Jacob never knew God's name, Tehy never spoke of God's name and made it known, were they "true" worshipers or not? According to the Bible teach book, they are not.

  My kids do have the option of not going, but they get the guilt card played on them. I've even stepped in and said to quit trying to use guilt. As far as allowing them to go, well I agreed to both of us teaching them what we believe. They are NOT jws nor anything else until they are 18. There will be no baptism, none of that until they are adults. I have no need to go to another kh, as I have studied this org everyday for the past 6 years and know waaaay more about them than most jws do.

  Thank you all for the input. The unanimous opinion is no, not a good idea. I really appreciate shepardless' comments and have been doing this for most of my children's lives. I was just thinking it might help, but true that it would be far better to just work with my kids. I'm not a jw, I think I've been to a meeting once. That was only to see what my kids would have to go to.

  Ok, I'm willing, and thinking about going to the meetings, but there is a catch. I'm not, nor ever be a jw. I know too much about their beliefs. But, my family are all in, and I know I've already ruined the thought of being "in the family" with my mil. Mostly because I asked too many questions that had no answer. I have two children that my wife takes them to the kh. I want them to see, that daddy isn't ignorant. Please give me your thoughts.

  My wife knows fully well I don't agree.
