  i don't want to deceive anyone and i have to clarify a few things so i'm sorry this is going to be a lot more vague then you want.

  infact if you do not already realize or also feel something is about to happen as in the title, then move along, it will be a month or 2 before i update this.

  it's not my intention to annoy anybody, i am too uncomfortable to post any details because it's too new and i need to verify things, and i am also feeling responsible to give a subtle warning, that it might be something somebody needs to see.

  Hi Skeptical78,

  I would like to help you. I have taken a different approach with my family,and I have found success. When speaking with my family members, it has not been my goal to Prove That the Society is Wrong, rather my goal has been to Prove that the Bible Is Right. Gods Word when coupled with Holy Spirit is the most powerful force any human can possess.

  You can do all of the research in the world about WT past. You can reel off dates like Wikepedia, You can memorize the Proclaimers Book.. You can have a grasp on every failed prediction & Scandal in History..The problem is if your family does not know what they believe, all of your effort will be waisted.

  Many witnesses have no idea what the WT actually teaches! The task of teaching them what the WT teaches now will be almost impossible, since they will have pre determined, anything that you say is from "Apostate Sources"!

  If you would like some more advice, please let me know.. I have a few simple & thought provoking questions that you can review with your family. The only source of these is the Bible.

  TTATT Elder - Do you feel that the writers are knowingly being deceptive, or are they the omes whom are deceived the most?

  I know that there are some witnesses, who do not have pure Motives.. However I have known many Brothers that are Genuinely Good People.. And it seems That there must be 1-2 Individuals at the top, who have full knowledge of the Tactics being employed, but the rest are simply "The Blind Leading The Blind" Perhaps I'm naive though.

  I recently listened to Brother Dunlap's audio recording http://www.jwinfoline.com/Page/audio.htm

  It makes much more sense now.. Anytime a witness sits down to prepare a part, or to write an article, his primary objective is to write the article in agreement with "Current Light". With this objective, naturally he will primarily consult the Insight book and the Watchtower Library, the Bible would be used only as a source for Supporting Quotes. It would not be necessary to fabricate new interpretations, they have already been done.

  This leads me to question, the person(s) that establish "New Light" what might their motives be? Is it more of the same? They are working with he set of doctrines, they have inherited?

  It's amazing that the only "Biblical Commentary" type book the Organization has ever produced (Aid Book) resulted in 2 or 3? of the 5 writers either leaving or getting booted from the Org.

There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.” (Matthew 24:48-51) The expression “that evil slave” draws our attention to Jesus’ preceding words about the faithful and discreet slave. Yes, the “evil slave” came from the ranks of the faithful slave.* How?

  3 Before 1914, many members of the faithful slave class had high hopes of meeting with the Bridegroom in heaven that year, but their hopes were not fulfilled. As a result of this and other developments, many were disappointed and a few became embittered. Some of these turned to ‘beating’ their former brothers verbally and consorting with “confirmed drunkards,” religious groups of Christendom.—Isaiah 28:1-3; 32:6.

  1. They go as far as to claim that "The Evil Slave" is a different slave then the "Faithful & Discreet Slave"! LOL I have never noticed this before.

  2. They claim that the slave is Evil, because of disappointment over 1914!? As if harsh words can be compared to a Law Book of 1,000 intricate laws, some carrying Complete Seperation from Family & Friends As a Punishment.. Hmm

  3. What tops it all off.. This article goes on to to support the fact, that there were faithful and discreet slaves since 33 CE, while completely ignoring anything anyone has done for the past 1900 years. and of course, this article is "Old Light" since we all know that the bible says that the First faithful and discreet slave was Rutherford : (
