The Watchtower Publishing House made Jesus take his heavenly throne on their own set time not on god's sacred time
by Finkelstein intaking a close analytical look at the most influencail core doctrine established by the wts/jws, one can see perhaps probably the largest theological frauds purported by this religious institution.. throughout the nt jesus admonished man upon setting times of his return and that it wasn't man's position of his devout followers to set a time on god's sacred time.
yet the wts made up times on its own accord disobeying jesus's commandment.
probably why so few recognized christian organizations have not done so in the long history of christian adherence.

What the well-dressed little kid won't tell you is you could end up being interrogated for hours if you rightfully point out they are liars and
DON'T teach what the bible teaches.

Emblem Takers Mentally Unstable?
by Cold Steel inonthewayout wrote: of course, for quite awhile (and probably still), congregations have been viewing any relatively young (maybe under 50 or even 60) partakers as mentally unstable and watchtower ignores such people anyway and says they must listen to the elders.
is this correct?
ever since the emblem-takers were given emeritus status as members of the faithful and discreet slave, have they been relegated to standard membership?

When I was going anyone semi-young was considered nuts or just wacked so basically 50 and below. To have that 'anointed' buzz around you you have to be established already, you have to have a long while being known as 'anointed' and then people are very, intrigued, reverent, in awe almost. I know I was to some extent of people who I genuinely believed were going to heaven.

Why Talking to Jehovah's Witnesses is Hard.
by runForever inwhen we are talking to a jehovah's witness we might think we are talking facts with them but we are not.
they are looking through a lense.
of assumed facts they have already concluded as true.

When we are talking to a Jehovah's Witness we might think we are talking facts with them but we are not. They are looking through a lense
of assumed facts they have already concluded as true. For example: "if these are really Christ's brothers as the governing body surely we should listen to them". We can never argue with their idea directly because that is how the evidence is pointing to them and they don't know their presumed facts are wrong. So in short we have to create another reality so to speak for them not through trying to destroy their presumed facts but showing them "new" ones. After all how did Jehovah's witnesses convince us? By trying to discredit all of our facts or did they start building their own story?
They did it through creating a new narrative first and in some ways that is what we have to do with them.
This is just one method of talking with Jehovah's Witnesses and it always depends on the situation.

well one thing is it doesn't have rebar which can rust over long periods of time and crack the concrete. was it partly the engineering in arches and
no rebar more than the concrete mix itself?

About the ten plagues in Egypt
by runForever inalot of people are saying god is cruel for killing the firstborns and animals and people in the ten plagues.
but didn't god achieve his goal of making nations and people be in fear of him?.

ADCMS: Surely you're correct 2 million people could not live in the wilderness. But there wasn't. At one time there could have been 500k Israelites in Egypt total and that is when Pharoah started killing the firstborns. The registry included dead ancestors. Abraham was gathered to his peoples after he was dead. It is possible that this is translated poorly by someone who thought they knew what the bible was saying. So it was probably alot less around 100k. In numbers Moses took a census of LIVING firstborns and only had 22k so there you go. Numbers 3:40-43.

Is not Judicial Committees directly against Matthew 7?
by runForever ini was just doing a little research in this where it says "do not be judging.
" in matthew.. it looks like the connotation here is not judging if someone is doing right or wrong but judging the person themselves in a certain way.. such as reviewing all their actions and nitpicking them down.
reducing people down to what they do and then pronouncing a judgement upon them.. over and over again.. .
