this chart is charted using the specific phrase: "jehovah's organization" in the watchtower magazine.
notice how they really start de-emphasizing this phrase in the few years before 1975 and for some years after.
looks like they were waiting for it to blow over.. .

this is a chart i created that charts the use of the term "lord jesus" in the watchtower magazine.. interesting to note that the term only broke the 60 count 4 times and those were close intervals of 7 years with the last count above 60 being an 8 year interval.. .

earlier in the week someone posted the potential value of the jw website based on visits and if they used advertisements.
many stated they would never do that but i propose they could.. besides their real estate profit making business model, they have the conventions as cash generating machines.
they give directions to their members to which hotels/motels to use.
insidethekh:@TTATElder members do not have usernames ,.. only a few persons (with responsibilities) per congregation do"
when I last visited yes anyone can get a username and donate. I signed up and once I was a member I saw the donate button where you could setup reoccurring payments or one time.
taking a close analytical look at the most influencail core doctrine established by the wts/jws, one can see perhaps probably the largest theological frauds purported by this religious institution.. throughout the nt jesus admonished man upon setting times of his return and that it wasn't man's position of his devout followers to set a time on god's sacred time.
yet the wts made up times on its own accord disobeying jesus's commandment.
probably why so few recognized christian organizations have not done so in the long history of christian adherence.

What the well-dressed little kid won't tell you is you could end up being interrogated for hours if you rightfully point out they are liars and
DON'T teach what the bible teaches.
onthewayout wrote: of course, for quite awhile (and probably still), congregations have been viewing any relatively young (maybe under 50 or even 60) partakers as mentally unstable and watchtower ignores such people anyway and says they must listen to the elders.
is this correct?
ever since the emblem-takers were given emeritus status as members of the faithful and discreet slave, have they been relegated to standard membership?
When I was going anyone semi-young was considered nuts or just wacked so basically 50 and below. To have that 'anointed' buzz around you you have to be established already, you have to have a long while being known as 'anointed' and then people are very, intrigued, reverent, in awe almost. I know I was to some extent of people who I genuinely believed were going to heaven.
when we are talking to a jehovah's witness we might think we are talking facts with them but we are not.
they are looking through a lense.
of assumed facts they have already concluded as true.
When we are talking to a Jehovah's Witness we might think we are talking facts with them but we are not. They are looking through a lense
of assumed facts they have already concluded as true. For example: "if these are really Christ's brothers as the governing body surely we should listen to them". We can never argue with their idea directly because that is how the evidence is pointing to them and they don't know their presumed facts are wrong. So in short we have to create another reality so to speak for them not through trying to destroy their presumed facts but showing them "new" ones. After all how did Jehovah's witnesses convince us? By trying to discredit all of our facts or did they start building their own story?
They did it through creating a new narrative first and in some ways that is what we have to do with them.
This is just one method of talking with Jehovah's Witnesses and it always depends on the situation.
