When materialism is taught in the schools, many would copy the spirit of Evolution Theory (survival of the fittest/mightiest, richest or whatever). ‘My desire should be fulfilled at any cost, no matter what happens to others’ would be the typical attitude most people would follow. ‘Thus we have the Governments we deserve.’ Result is the present system of things where the real rulers are LUST (overpopulating the world beyond its resources), ANGER (saturating the earth with weapons of mass destruction) and GREED (widening the gap between the rich and the poor—“the richest 1 per cent of humans own half the world’s assets,” according to Credit Suisse Report of October 2014) Even in religion, they are the rulers! Though outwardly spiritual, religions are actually materialistic encouraging adherents to seek MATERIAL blessings from God, thus making God a MEANS in materialistic system of things. Even JWs are no exception as they teach: “You get paradise if you take up our version of worship.”

Interestingly, great analytical minds such as Alexander Pope, Adam Smith, Neil Armstrong, Thomas Alva Edison, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Victor Hugo,Voltaire, Wernher von Braun, George Washington, Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi ………. believed that religions of this world are like water-tight compartments—they do not unite people, hence cannot be from God. Gandhi did not share the religious views of the world, because he declared: “A trader who earns his wealth by deception only succeeds in deceiving himself when he thinks that his sins can be washed away by spending some amount of his ill-gotten gains on the so-called religious purposes. For me, God and Truth are convertible terms, and if anyone told me that God was a god of untruth or a god of torture, I would decline to worship Him.” Gandhi thus declared invalid all religions which promise salvation to their believers in exchange of something material, which would, of course, be flagrant violation of omnipresent Law of Cause and Consequence—something God will never do!

All those great people with keen insight believed that God has given us REASON, not religion. Religions, in general, use fear and reward to keep the followers with them. Albert Einstein simply dismissed the very basis of all those religions when he said: "If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed." He did not believe that God of the universe has used any religion or scriptures: “I'm not an atheist, and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws. Our limited minds grasp the mysterious force that moves the constellations." (from Einstein and Religion by Max Jammer)

These great men were right. If religions were from God, they would have remained in harmony with each other and would have had scriptures that would not conflict with others! Hence those great men believed that THE NATURE is God’s unchangeable book which contains all the lessons mankind needs, if they are willing to learn. To mention a few:

1) SUN (whose nature is to give light and heat) teaches us to light up faces of ours and of others, and to do things that warm up others through our words and action.

2) TREES (which prepare food for others to enjoy life) teach us to do good for the sake of good.

3) RIVER (which is always on the move) teaches us not to be attracted or disturbed by the things of this world.

4) LAW OF CAUSE AND CONSEQUENCE teaches us to learn from past things and act carefully in the future.

The list goes on and on, making God’s role throughout the history unnecessary! When individual changes, the world changes. Individual can make his life a celebration if he chooses to live by the lessons found in the book of Nature!

Now this news gives us some food for thought:

If the earth's magnetism is due to a permanent magnet it would have been destroyed by now since a permanent magnet gets destroyed by high temperature (and we know that the earth's core is too hot as compared to the earth's surface). Further, since the earth's magnetic field is of the value of 8x10 (to the power 22) ampere meter squared, which is a very large number, the earth magnetic field must be utilizing a very large supply of energy to keep this going. From where did this energy come in the first place? No scientist has reached any conclusion on this and it is a mystery for them. (There are different theories without conclusion.)

The earth's magnetic field is due to an electric current circulating in the core of the earth. After this current started flowing, this current starts decaying as per Lenz's Law and it takes thousands of years to decay taking the earth's parameters into account. It is also found that the time taken for decay is proportional to the square of the radius. Hence when calculated, the dying out takes a few thousand years only and not millions of years. Now it has also been discovered that there is about 810 megawatts of power being used by the earth's magnetic field which is equivalent to the production of a huge power plant on the earth.

The evolutionists have been unable to answer the question of FROM WHERE THIS POWER HAS BEEN FLOWING FOR BILLIONS OF YEARS if their evolution theory is to be accepted. There is obviously a huge missing link somewhere. The currents are still flowing but it is estimated that it is decaying at an annual rate of approximately about 5 percent.

This leads us to believe that the earth’s magnetic field is only a few thousand years old and it will again revert back to its original state after a huge nuclear catastrophe even as the earth's axis will also change because of the huge nuclear explosions . The huge magnetic energy to the original state will be derived from the nuclear explosions.

That means history has been repeating:

You are asking in what way climate change vindicates JWs. I did not explain this as all ex-JWs know the answer. Yet I will do it for you:

The substratum of all JW teachings is that humans would bring only ruin if they try to rule themselves without taking God’s will into account. And when the ruination reaches its climax, God would replace the present kingdoms (the real ruler of which is the greed of those who use technology) with His Kingdom; hence JWs has the caption: “THE WATCHTOWER announcing God’s Kingdom.” All other teachings have only secondary and supportive role, hence change in them would not matter.

Now picturize what science and technology have done as though in a story. What is the climax of this story? Science and its application (technology) spoiled the promptness of earth—it’s like cutting the branch one sits on. Science and technology have given you all gadgets of comfort, but in the process POLLUTED AIR & WATER (what is the use of gadgets of comfort if you cannot breathe pure air and drink pure water?), and have been leading the ecosystem into a great catastrophe.

This vindicates the core-teaching of JW that God’s Kingdom is the ONLY remedy which they have been CONSISTENTLY proclaiming from their very inception!

He says he started searching for an organization that appeared on the world scene after 1935, which follow Jesus 100%. If Jesus is real, there should be some organization copying him 100% knowingly or unknowingly. And he found an organization following Jesus 100% unknowingly. Jesus’s promise will naturally be applied to them: “The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.” (Mathew 21:43)

When the world entered into the peak of irreligiousness and unrighteousness in the first half of 20 th century, it was time for our Heavenly Father to plant a seed for New World on earth. His attention turned into a 60-year old person, named Lekhraj, in Sindh (Pakistan). He was a diamond merchant, materially very rich; yet he was a spiritual magnet who perfectly met the qualification of Mathew 5:3. God blessed him, in 1936, with six visions, one of which was (of 3-hour duration) about the end of the present Dark Age. In this vision, he saw the destruction of materialistic America and Europe (by the weapons they themselves have amassed) and of Gulf countries and other third world countries (by civil wars and natural calamities)—within 100 years from 1936; and in the later part of the vision, he saw how God brought in a New World of peace and prosperity on earth.

God renamed him as Brahma (bra = great; ma = mind) which identified him as one who treats everyone, WITH A GREAT MIND, as own brothers and sisters (Mathew 23:9), and commissioned him to spread the message to all the inhabited earth. He immediately sold his diamond business, started a residential school, adopted over 300 female little children, gave them both secular and spiritual education for 13 years, and sent them to all countries. Thus resulted a great, mighty, world-wide organization known as Brahmakumaris (meaning, virgin daughters of Brahma) headquartered on the top of a literal mount—Abu, Rajasthan, India. (Compare Isaiah 2:2-4) Their overseers are all women whereas men (Brahmakumars = virgin sons of Brahma) have supportive roles. Thus it’s God’s reply to men who monopolized religious leadership throughout the history! It has been experiencing a phenomenal growth. [JW’s India Branch is in Bangalore, and they have around 10 congregation in that city, whereas Brahmakumaris have over 300 congregations in Bangalore alone]

Their appearance on the world-scene ties in with Bible chronology. Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians in 586 BCE [testify numerous sources such as (1) jewishencyclopedia.com; (2) Catholic Encyclopedia (3) Encyclopedia.com; (4) The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, page 1016 (5) Bible-history.com (6) Newworldencyclopedia.org; (7) Britannica Encyclopedia…..………. …..etc]. Hence “Seven Times” (of 2520 years) ended in 1935 (585 years of BCE + 1935 years of CE = 2520 years), and in the very next year God acted, planting a seed for the New World. (Daniel 4:10-16)

The Brahmakumaris organization is unique in that they practice EVERYTHING Jesus taught us with his very life—including celibacy, an outstanding feature of his life style!

Now to be objective on the subject, let us do a simple exercise, making a chart of major things Jesus said and did, and replace his name with the pronoun he, and ask the world: “Whose characteristics are they?

Here is the chart:

1) He talked to his heavenly Father from “very early in the morning (Mark 1:35; John 8:1, 2), then again during the day, evening, and sometimes even in night. (Luke 5:16; 6:12; Mathew 14:23)

2) His life itself was a meditation, as if always doing, in principle, an open-eyed meditation, as he kept his “eyes single.” (Mathew 6:22) He had the real eyes that saw the eternal behind the ephemeral, or the SOURCE behind the resources. (Luke 11:27, 28; 18:18-19) He radiated his heavenly Father’s qualities so perfectly that he could declare that: “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)

3) He practiced celibacy, viewing all women as his own sisters. (Mathew 23:9) hence never looked at a woman lustfully. (Mathew 5:28)

4) He had a great mind (brahma, in Sanskrit) treating God as his Father and others as his brothers and sisters. (Mathew 23:9) Because of this, he was never influenced by his fleshly family members and relatives. (Mathew 12:46-50) He was like a bride towards God who is also called “husband” (Isaiah 54:5) and doing God’s will was like intoxication to him. (John 4:34; 6:38)

5) He declared God as the supremely Altruistic (Shiva in Sanskrit) and the source of all good gifts. (Mark 10:18; Mathew 7:11 compare James 1:17)

6) He knew he was a soul, had existed before in Heaven, and would return to heaven after earthly life. (John 5:24; 6:38, 62; 8:42; 13:1; 17:5) He taught that our Heavenly Father is “spirit,” or incorporeal. Thus he implied all His children are also spirit beings acting in physical bodies; hence are the exact representation of His very being. (John 4:24; 6:63 Compare Ecclesiastes 12:7 and Mark 12:26-27) He also taught we can choose to be peaceful and pure souls, and become the children of God. (Mathew 5:3, 8, 9) Hence he could ask us: “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Mathew 5:48)

7) Every soul carries within it a sanskar (unique personality traits or basic tendency) of one’s own making and acts accordingly. (Mathew 12:35) Many may not choose to change their sanskar, hence will repeat their acts when they are born again.—Luke 16:31 Compare Mathew 11:14; 12:32

8) He believed every action (even an unproductive word one utters) has equal and opposite reaction. (Mathew 12:36; 23:12; Luke 6:38)

9) He declared vices such as lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride … as originating from body-consciousness, and showed perfect control over them.—Mark 7:21-23; compare Galatians 5:19-21; John 16:33; 1 John 2:15-17.

10) He said the purpose of life is to become like our Heavenly Father, manifesting His qualities in day-to-day life. What is required is only a change in attitude! (Mathew 5:44-48; Compare Genesis 11:6) This is achievable for anyone, if he wills so; because Spirit is more powerful than the body. (John 6:63) Moreover, such ones will automatically be helped by the Father. (Luke 11:13)

11) This Dark Age will be replaced by Golden Age. (Mathew 12:32; Mathew 19:28) Through many illustrations (Mathew 13:34, 35) he provided some insight into the history: at the start of Golden Age population will be small and will gradually increase (Mathew 13:31-33); first half of history will have all divine features, but second half will become demonic (Mathew 13:24, 30); the first half is reserved for the pure (Revelation 22:14) and the second half is for those who turn to impurities like lust, anger and greed. (Revelation 22:15 & Colossians 3:5; Mathew 8:11, 12; 21:43; John 9:4; and 11:10) Some who are convinced of the inheritance or “the kingdom of heaven” will use all their assets in favor of their knowledge (Mathew 13:44, 45)

12) He knew that before the Golden Age comes, the present decadent world will come to its destruction with the stock-piles of deadly arms man has manufactured. (Mathew 24:21; 26:52)

13) He taught that people will be judged on the basis of whether they have loved Light that has come into the world or not! (John 3:19-21)

14) He had full of praise for Abraham (Mathew 8:11; 22:32; John 8:39, 40) about whom the Bible says “God was his friend” and “was proud of being called his God.” (James 2:23; Hebrew 11:16) Why? Because Abraham and his family had a guest-attitude while living on earth, considering themselves as “temporary residents” here, which meant they always lived in remembrance of ‘returning to their original home, a better place.’ (Hebrews 11:13-16 Compare Philippians 3:20) He, like other spiritual people, viewed the world as a drama stage. (1 Corinthians 7:31; 1 John 2:17)

15) He stated men and women are “images of God,” hence equal. He chose to reveal the most important spiritual truths to a woman who was from a “low” caste community called Samaritans, thus elevated the standard of woman. (John 4) He declared that projection of woman as inferior was the result of “hardheartedness” on the part of some ancient men, which obviously has nothing to do with Scriptures. (Mathew 19:4-8) God is not partial to any nation or religion; but goes by fruitage one produces. (Mathew 21:43)

16) When all the men whom Jesus personally trained deserted him, “many women” stood with him at the direst moments of his life, ministering to him. (Mathew 27:55) He praised woman as having keener insight into future and spirituality than men (Mathew 26:10-13 Contrast John 6:60) and appointed woman to impart vital spiritual truth to men. (John 20:16-18)

Now ask the world: Which organization does these things? “That is what exactly Brahmakumaris do,” people with keen insight will answer! Similarity between Brahmakumaris and Jesus is not a coincidence! Basis of God’s children is always the same, it never changes. (Mathew 5:44-48; James 1:17) Hence all Christians—including JWs—can actually be proud of Brahmakumaris who collectively prove Jesus is practical, and who remain pure and help the world as light-bearers in this “time of the end.”–Compare Mathew 24:3; 25:1-13.

the new teaching of the appointment of the faithful and discreet slave has arguably made 1919 an even more important date to jehovahs witnesses than 1914. appendix b1 of the revised nwt bible shows a time line of the message of the bible in relation to gods rulership.

it is of note that the official doctrine of the establishment of gods kingdom in 1914 is not even mentioned only that satan was cast down around that time.. ever since the 1919 doctrine was announced at the 2012 agm, and subsequently published in the july 15th watchtower 2013, the appointment of the slave seems to have become a much more prominent topic in our teaching, and indeed in general discussion among witnesses.. of course we should remind ourselves that this new level of interest really has nothing to do with the date, and everything to do with the nature of the appointment.

(Though I had decided to post no more, this article defeated my resolve. This is my last comments)

I appreciate the author's keen intellect. What he said about Rutherford of course runs counter to the qualifications outlined in 1 Tim 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9

But there was one man in contrast to Rutherford in India, unwittingly fulfilling all the scriptural qualifications for appointment. (Mathew 21:43) All the evidence points that appointment is gone to him. Here is the proof:

Though JWs calculated “Seven Times” as ending in the year 1914 which meant planting (or “sprouting”) of God’s tree on earth), world did not witness anything positive taking place in the year 1914, but instead witnessed a World War (1914-1918), which ended, sowing seeds for a Second World War (1939-1945). Hence the first half of the 20 th century saw the beginning of the climax of moral decline—a time that would attract God’s attention for His incarnation, as promised in many scriptures, including Gita 4:7.

From what has been experienced, we can say that God’s incarnation was in a different sense. He did not take birth in any woman’s womb. Rather God Almighty simply borrowed physical frame of a worthy person. In the year 1936, God, the Supreme Soul, entered into the body of a 60-year old spiritual magnet, named Dada Lekh Raj (a diamond merchant in Sindh Punjab, presently part of Pakistan) gave him six visions, one of which showed how this old world would be replaced with a Golden Age, and then commissioned him to herald this good news to the whole world. God renamed him, by his character, as Brahma (great mind, the one who treats God as his Father and others as his brothers and sisters) and called his copies as Brahmakumaris and Brahmakumars. (Compare Mathew 21:43; 23:9) And from 1936 onward, God has been teaching them Golden Aged life, using His copies.

Through His pure teachings (His simple teaching is this: altruism is virtue and egoism is sin), God laid foundation for a new tree. This is in conformity with what we observe in the nature—out of the old tree comes the foundation of the new tree. Those who are the leaves of the old tree, the souls of Iron Age [Kaliyug], experience transformation and become the foundation for the Golden Aged tree, or the New World. This comes about through developing a great mind, or bringing a change in consciousness—from body consciousness to soul-consciousness, and then a change in sanskaras [the unique personality traits].

Interestingly, Jewish and other Christian scholars had been saying Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians in the year 586 BCE (not in 607 BCE as JWs erroneously believed). If one goes by the year 586 BC, he is really in for a surprise! 585 years of BC and 1935 years of AD make 2520 years. That means God’s planting of the seed of the Golden Aged tree would happen after the year 1935. And It DID happen in the very next year, in 1936, as shown in the fourth paragraph!

Interestingly, Bible provides more information on the identity of Golden Aged people. They will renounce all kinds of lust (Mathew 25:1-13) and have their head-quarters on a mount where they will receive spiritual feeding program from their heavenly Father.—Isaiah 2:2-4.

Anyone who studies about Brahmakumaris will readily realize that they have the purity; and their head-quarters is situated on a literal mount (Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India) to which people from ‘all the nations stream’. (Isaiah 2:2) A group of over 30,000 people from all over the world come here on rotation, stay and take in advanced spiritual feeding program for a week. And FIGURATIVELY too, these people are on an exalted mountain because of their high moral standards and purity. (Compare Psalm 73:1; Mathew 5:8, 9) The prophecy also speaks of their practice of non-violence as another identifying mark. (Isaiah 2:4) They neither kill any being nor support killing as they follow a strict vegetarian diet cooked in loving remembrance of God.—Genesis 1:29; Matthew 9:13; Contrast Philippians 3:19.

The people with a keen insight have been benefiting from these Golden Aged people called Brahmakumaris. They know that the present world is like an old tree that must give way to the new. So on one hand they see the old tree that is no longer able to continue, and on the other the foundation of the new tree already being laid by the Supreme. The destruction of the old tree occurs in different ways. It goes through great upheaval due to natural calamities—earthquakes, floods, and great violence in nature. And there is confusion amongst human beings and this leads to anarchy and civil strife, signs of which are already apparent. Even the so-called developed countries are witnessing frequent unrest due to their mishandling of economic policies and their huge debt of unimaginable proportion! Then the tree is finally destroyed with the power of all the stock-piles of arms man has manufactured. Once the old tree is destroyed, the sapling, which has already been established, begins to bloom. A recreation, a new world, a golden age, a new tree, begins again.—Compare Genesis 1:27-31; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1.

Babylonians occupied the Land of Israel and exiled the Yehudim (Judeans, or Jews), as captives into Babylon. Some 50 years later, the Persian Empire (ancient Iran) conquered the Babylonian Empire and allowed the Jews to return home to the land of Israel.

I have always talked about Principle of Cause and Effect (which is the hall-mark of science and almost all religions in the world), but you want to discredit it reducing it as the sole property of just one organization on earth. It reminds of me of people who asked: “Can anything good come from Nazareth?" (John 1:46) Thus they diverted the attention from the good things Jesus was doing, to Nazareth.

What science has left UNTAUGHT!

when one goes deep into the science, there are things that suggest the existence of immortal soul or a caring supreme soul.

hence, the question is not about lack of proofs, but is all about whether one is willing to accept or not (mathew 11:14).

If your father gifts you a powder-blue Rolls-Royce Phantom (which is of course the proof that your father cares for you), and if you do not apply breaks whenever necessary and hurt yourself or others, it is only the proof that you do not care (it is not the proof that you do not have a caring father). Similarly, God has given everything to humans—resources, ability, free-will, cause-and-effect mechanism…, but most humans want to misuse them. If only man avoids wastages, every human on earth can live in a palace, like a king!
