only younger mormons do (male and female) but they are not that succesful outside the United States while Jehovah's Witnesses (although their religion is younger) have a much larger presence in almost every country outside the USA.
Also one of their elders recently said that although the mormons report 15 million members only 5 million of them are active (most of them in the USA)

@fulltimestudent he made the rules of our universe but that in no way means he is submitted to them as well. And yes i believe in the God of the bible. I dont mind if you and others dont. I just wait on the moment my science fiction will become reality

sorry to generalize, but americans have the disposable income, and the insurance polices for things like this - a thing the wtbts finds very attractive.
if a disaster strikes me i would first see if my direct familymembers are ok or need help before i would help any other people. thats a normal and natural reaction. The same do Jehovah's Witnesses when they start to help their spiritual familymembers first. nothing wrong with that

@Madgiant i would not call it magic but to think that an almighty God is prevented to do things just because some laws of nature is naive. The bible is full of examples to show his not bound to those laws.

A scientist is a person having expert knowledge of one or more sciences, especially a natural or physical science. Our creator does not have to understand concepts in order to do the things he wants, he invented the concepts and can make all things possible.

we had another couple over this weekend.
after taking a reasonable hike in the woods, we came back to the house, made a fire and began to talk a bit.
these folks are long time friends of ours and are (like us) slowly easing out of the kingdom hall.

I did not claim that Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones on the ground or the only victims. Its a terrible tragedy. However i consider witnesses as my family so that is why i mentioned them.

they are already on the ground and busy. Unfortunately reports come in that dozens of Jehovah's Witnesses lost their lives too. Kingdom halls and houses are all destroyed. at this moment many people sleep in Kingdom Halls that are still standing. Of course help is on the way.
