i cannot find written anywhere that after 6 months without preaching activities reported you are considered an inactive jw.. where is this written?

or is it a non-written rule?.

... Even so, inactive ones are still our brothers and sisters, and we love them.
And we show our love by bullying the inactive ones (are no longer on the list of fieldservice groups), not inviting them to social events, stalking them more often through elders, and talking to them as little as possible. Like all other cults.

The big churches protect their "monks, priests and nuns" - by allowing them to stay in the monastery all their lives. So, of course, the churches also have an overview of what the costs are. (evil world of Satan)
The JWs throw very most of their "old ones" rudely out of the Bethel and give them the status "special pioneer". From now on, it becomes difficult to keep track of the costs incurred. (spiritual paradise of Jehovah)
My guess: A low mean will be formed from the total monthly costs reported back and that will be the future maximum allowance for special pioneers. These will then have to see to it that they live and reside very cheaply.

My father was like you (back in the 1970s).
Unfortunately, he never talked to us children about his reasons and left us to our brainwashed mother.
In retrospect, I would tell my father (or you): please please talk to the children. Educate them about how cults work and how cults manipulate people. Educate them that they need to acquire KNOWLEDGE. Help them become critical thinkers and question everything. To question everything on its PROVABLE facts.
Ask the kids how they feel about having to do JW stuff. Find out if they enjoy doing it or are reluctant. Since the WTG always claims that it does not force anyone, allow your children to also say NO to a day out in service or a visit in the kingdom hall.
I love Portugal, especially the pleasant weather in the Algarve. I have been there many times - always combined with short trips to Lisboa.
