They are still getting charged interest, it's just a loophole. If the debt is never paid off the term is everlasting, so the interest rate is infinate, and gets passed onto overlapping generations. Kate xx

.. i would like to know what you active jw elders are going to do about this??!!...
are you going to let "your" congregation know about the other 3 secret pages?...

Incidentally, WT does not 'take on loan payments'. Loans are made to congregations with money that Publishers themselves donated , then donations from the same Publishers re-pay the loans that they themselves funded in the first place. None of it is WT's money-ADCMS
To be clear to anyone reading who doesn't get it...............................
Donate your money and when a cong needs a KH, WT will lend them the money to build one. But the loan will never be paid off, it will be an everlasting debt. If the cong cannot make repayments they don't get the loan or the KH.
WT are loansharks, they don't give money to any congs they just lend. Kate xx

I think it's quite funny that we eventually bounce back to ourselves. It's how computers work, with cookies. I have put things into google and found stuff I have posted. But whats good is that you can see others have read it too, over the years.

Plans for huge Jehovah's HQ take shape
by insidetheKH inplans for a huge jehovahs witness commune on the outskirts of chelmsford are gathering pace.. the international bible students association, the charity which manages jehovahs witnesses printing and literature distribution, wants to create a new british headquarters.. the 82-acre site (about 15 football pitches) at temple farm site, off ship road, west hanningfield.. the plans include a printery - producing bible-based literature - admin and language translation of?ces, video and sound production studios, an auditorium, training centre and workshops all on site.. plus there will be one and two bedroom apartments - for up to 1,200 residents and visitors - along with onsite caterers, laundrettes and healthcare facilities.. the site would also have its own energy centre - making it self-sufficient - and a new access road would also be built from temple wood.. a resident from stock, 60, who didnt want to be named, said: its all a bit sci-fi if you ask me.
its a very unusual development, a commune really.
i wouldnt say i was against it as it is all a bit of a mess at that site at the moment.. the land, currently occupied by a car breakers yard, was removed from the green belt by chelmsford city council in 2008 and earmarked for employment use.. ibsa agreed to buy the land from its current owners in december, as long as they get planning permission for the project.

Doesn't the WT paint a lovely picture to the press and nieghbour. It sickens me as the WT and it's policies have hurt so many. If this project is going to cost £10 million the poor sheeple are footing the bill. The papers should be aware of the new pledge arrangement, it really ruffles my feathers that they have only printed half of the story.
I am so glad that we are not donating anymore, I am sure my ex is though, to keep up appearances of course, while he is lying to the courts about me.
So has anyone got any info of the sale of Mill Hill properties. I know some Bethelites have moved already.

when you're sick of the cherade of pretending you can deal with the spiritual division when you dont think you can anymore.
when you're convinced that your spouse is so decieved she is lost in a desert and is fine with living by the mirage.

This is the sad reality of a cult I am afraid. I used to speak up and tell my trusted sisters what I thought of the elders on my JC, well she shopped me in and betrayed me. Sad to say this is what happens. I am glad I spoke up, but you can only do it once then you get Df'd.
I had so much to lose, but I couldn't help myself, I am a speaker upper. I am fighting in court now to see my son, it's a difficult family situation that would have been avoided if I had taken the beatings and shut up and kept it all quiet, but that's not me.
I am so glad I am out, and when I see JWs at their trolleys I can say whatever I like, as I have suffered all the consequences I can suffer. they can't Df me again.

You have been on this site for 3 years now.
Your story seems sad. You seem as if you wished you'd done something different. I haven't read all 85 of your posts so I don't exactly know your situation, but you seem you have been a JW and just left. But your family carried on going.
I would spend time regularly with your kids, spend time on a one to one basis with them and get them to feel good about thinking for themselves, tell them they are competent in descision making. They are bound to have some gripes about the cong or the religion, build their trust and find out what's bothering them.
If one of your kids stopd going this will make your wife think and then maybe she will wake up. But she might be a real super JW and totally indoctrinated.
