you maintained a level of personal decency and integrity that you almost certainly would not have had if you had chosen another direction.. sure, you would have had some very "colorful" friends and experiences if you had gone another way, but you still chose the more "edgy" people in the congregation as your friends and you still enjoyed yourself, even if there were a lot of phony constraints.. you looked for ways to be of value to others.

Yes people like me, but people also disliked me very much. WT brought out the darker side of my personality. Being in such a controlling and toxic environment was stressful and I called JWs on their nonsense. This was not a desireable quality to have.

They stole my life and I lost my son, I am still fighting to get him back. It wa a traumatic experience being a JW and now I have left it's traumatic building my life back.

What is the key to free yourself from the Organization?

they key to free yourself from the organization is having mental clarity of what is happening in relation to the watchtower, inside and out.

their basic concept is that they are god's sole organization on earth.

there really is no basis for anyone to make that statement.

Anyone recall a time when your congregation came to the aid of a Brother or sister in need??

i'm not talking about a individual, but a congregation as a whole.. i'm talking about a brother or sister that really hit hard times.. have there ever been an occasion where the brothers (elders).

decided to dip into the kh funds and help one in need????.

example, brother loose his job, get evicted, family of four or.

What if you were a JW during WWII? Would you give in to Hitler and fight?

so i pose this question to everyone.

if you were a jw and lived in germany in wwii, how would you deal with the harsh cruelity of hitler?

would you join his side so you may have a chance to live (meaning you'd serve in the miliatry and be on the front line) or would you keep on serving god and be executed?

How are you doing?

It's nice to see you reading up on the Holocaust. Get as much general knowledge and education as you can, it's all very valuable. Personally, I would rather die than be forced to participate in a facist regime. I would also try and escape and fight back as far as possible. My grandparents escaped the concentration camps. Besides as I have a Jewish past Hitler would never let me renounce my faith to serve him.

Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?

islam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .

christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.

stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

IMO the UK is not assimilating Muslims into their community. What is happening is that wealthy families are buying properties and driving house prices up. British people are getting the best prices for their homes. Some of these buyers are Muslim oil shieks and business owners.

It's all about the money, that's life

Oops! I think my numbers up!

had a call from an elder a few weeks ago, asking if he could visit.

managed to get away with saying thanks but no thanks.

had another one tonight.

Thinking back on it the first thing he said was I'm on speaker and his 18 year old son is there. i didnt twig until then. "Two witnesses"! Sneaky. I suppose he did warn me.

Yet another piece of evidence that proves elders want to DF JWs not help them. They could have just left you alone, the point of causing all this unneccessary upset is too keep the other JWs in the cong in line, loyal and living in fear. You are the example that we just can't leave if we want to.
