so this is just so nauseating to me when she noddes her head in agreement and in a low voice or sound does a "mmm uh" in agrrement.
but here is the deal, she never aswers at the meetings.
she doesn't go out in service often.
I used to nod in agreement all the time. I was a true believer and used to participate all the time. Always in FS had plenty of studies. So I used to nod in agreement.
When I woke up and still attended meetings I had very different facial expressions when I didn't agree. I didn't agree a lot and soon left.

after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.

my husband was recently subjected to an intervention by his parents.
i am apparently a danger to his spirituality.
after i stopped attending meetings and went apostate hubby decided to resign as a ms to spend more time with me.
This is really good news we love hearing that one's are doing research and might wake up.

third post about the big disappointments that woke me up.
i'm writing them in no particular order.
these episodes made me bitter when they happened.
They are just men. Nothing special, no holy spirit appointing them. But the time they get to the point of being a CO.....they would have experienced exactly how there is no holy spirit so many of them are frauds looking after their own lifestyles.

recently i have just started looking into what buddhism is all about.
i rather like the idea of a personal spirituality.
of trying to be a better person and an acceptance of the reality of life and trying to find an inner peace and contentment.. anyway, i came across this today.
My brother married a Buddhist wife in Vietnam. They have some cultish rituals and superstitions. I think all religion is about control myself and am happy away from it. I feel I have good morals and a sense of justice. I follow the philosophy of many who say "Be nice"

she is always in cult mode, we don't talk anymore, we don't sleep in the same bed.

like it is so annoying.
as tired as i am and as painful these meetings are to listen to, i can not for the life of me fall asleep.
might close my eyes for 30 seconds but that seems to make me even more awake.

i was just talking to my mom a few weeks ago.
she said, out of all her kids, i was the only one she didn't have to worry about as far as spirituality.
i always took a stand for jehovah.. she told when all of her kids were little, she gave us the option of not eating birthday cakes in school.
I may have wasted an opportunity to tell her why... Maybe I should have... Maybe I should just confide in her...- cognac
I don't think you wasted an opportunity at all. You have good critical thinking skills and can make good decisions. some on this board are too hasty and mess things up others don't say a thing and stay in. We all have different circumstances and I think you have very good balance,

so it's been a few months since i last went to a meeting but i've still had lots of guilty feelings about leaving, such as am i doing the right thing, thinking about friends and family, where do i go from here etc etc.
but i think once you stop believing you can't go back.. anyway, today i had a very nice experience.
my daughter had been to nursery today and when she got home i asked her what she had done and she excitedly told me they had been doing pumpkins.
I am so jealous of you all you guys having a great time with the build up to Halloween and Guy Fawkes night. My kids are older now. Trying to get my 22yr old to come to a Halloween party or ghost walk with me. Not much luck so far.
I am going to get my son to arrange to go to a fireworks display with a few school friends he is a teenager and I want him to develop independence and free thinking.
