  Separated from a loveless Marriage

  i don't know where to start.

  i got married a year and half ago.

  some months into the marriage things where discovered.

  Now that you have listened to us all, you must decide what your next steps will be based on this information. My spouse had the elders on his side too, and he was allowed privileges and I was not.

  If Jehovah sees everything why does this injustice continue in his organisation when it comes to domestic violence?

  My answer is that there is no holy spirit guiding elders or anyone. Once I realised this I was able to think clearly about my next steps. I suffered a lot of cognitive dissonance (torn feelings inside) before I accepted that Jehovah wasn't guiding things in my life. Then I left WT and the cognitive dissonance went away and I could think clearly.

  we have spent the last few weeks in training at the montgomery facility (near walkill) there are 6 couples that were trained to go on the road as ldc field representatives of the branch.

  Yes WT is just a property company. I can't believe the brother who wrote this email is so blind to the obvious strategies of the WT to acquire more properties and then sell them off for huge profits.

  In our circuit, a KH has been sold that accommodated two congs. Now the elderly and single parents have to trek miles every week to meetings.

  There isn't even one direct bus from the territory  to the KH, so if they don't have transport travelling to and from meetings will take them longer than the actual meeting.

  This email is spreading nonsense and it's just a smoke screen to gain more property for WT and free labour doing them up ready for sale.

  Welcome Cappytan,

  Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I couldn't live the lie to keep all my loved ones. I lost a great deal. If I could do it all again I would do it differently.

  If you do more research and finish Crisis of Conscience, and check out sites like jwsurvey.org and jwfacts.com you may feel you wish to leave WT. If you do I strongly recommend you build up a circle of friends outside WT before you make your exit.

  Trusted work mates, or even start a new hobby. Something to replace what you will lose if you leave. Talk to your wife as well, Combating cult Mind control, by Steve Hassan, is a good book to help you reach your wife. She may be very strongly entrenched in her beliefs. This book will help you understand ways to communicate that will be the least stressful for her. After all if you leave you want to try and take your wife with you.

  am i going nuts or am i just pissed off?

  there are so many posters who use abbreviations in their posts and so many of us have been out for years.

  the borg constantly changes everything from beliefs to organizational tactics, so those like me don't have a clue to what you are referring to.

  Decided to sign up...

  so i decided to sign up after many years of lurking.

  started researching after finding out about ray franz, which inevitably brought me to this site.. i'm still well and truly inn, but don't want to give any information out, i'm sure you guys know the reasons.. since "jay double you .

  org" came online, there has been a definite sense of hysteria with everyone who is "inn", and i get a feeling it's going to get a whole lot crazier as the years press on.. one point i would like to raise is that i feel, without a doubt, that 2034 is going to be the new finish line.

  All I would say is now you have learned TTATT you might want to think about making an exit plan. Living a lie can be very stressful or dehumanising.

  Dearest Playground,

  I deeply feel for you and the situation you're in. You have carefully concealed whether or not you're the husband or the wife in this marriage. However I can tell you that I am the victim of a lying spouse. My spouse lied to the elders and they believed him.

  The fact that your spouse make you physically sick is telling. You must stay out of this abusive marriage. 

  You say you still believe it's the truth, but if it is, why is holy spirit not guiding the elders to help you out of this abusive marriage and disciplining your spouse? Personally in my situation I don't believe the elders were guided by holy spirit. I even got df'd for trying to expose the lies.

  Playground, I stayed separated from my spouse and finally got divorced. It has been hard being alone and I have felt isolated at times because all my JW friends have eventually abandoned me. If you want to follow my example and take steps to free yourself I will support you.

  I made a youtube video of my experience with Eric at JWStruggle. It's 35 minutes but it might help you through your struggle.

  It seems like Christmas has been ruined for the rest of her life, she always wanted it and when she finally got it, it only brought back bad memories of missing out as a child.
