i enjoy swing dancing because it's very creative as a social dance.
you can learn a little or a lot, and enjoy it easily.

About 10 years ago I got involved with a square dancing group - oh my goodness! I had SOOO much fun - and it's great exercise, too! Wish I could find one around here, I'd do it again!

i left the jw's about 15 years ago however my 18 year old son is a witness.
we haven't seen each other for many years and the only contact we have is via the telephone occasionally (all this is cool btw).

I think I could live anywhere if I had to. I can't say I'd be too comfortable in the mid-east or the jungles of Africa, but I could do it if I had to - and I wouldn't piss and moan about how rotten the government was, unless I was willing to do something about it.
That said, with all it's faults and discontented people, I prefer to live in the loving arms of the USA. And if I got to wanting the USA to get it's mitts off me, I would use my energy to leave, or to affect positive change - because I can!

I think someone whom you spoke to in your family about these matters was as curious about this topic as you were, but didn't want to get "marked" for sending a letter to the Society. Whoever sent the letter knew you'd probably tell everyone that you got a letter from them when you didn't send one, which would give them an opportunity to see what the letter contained without it seeming unusual. It might be a bit mischievous to not mention the letter to anyone who may have written it, and see if anyone asks you any strange questions. I don't know if you've mentioned it to your hubby or not, but it certainly is interesting that SOMEONE was curious enough to write the Society for answers. Do you have any suspicions of who it might have been?
