I've been listening to some of Reveal's reports since your last thread, BA. This is an investigative journalism centre with a long history and many awards. Let's hope their focus on the JWS leads to some recognition that will put one of these reports in the public eye - if one of these wins an award, millions may hear it~!

so.....the court has updated binding recommendations to include the following:.

each parent has an affirmative responsibility to shield the children from this sort of behavior.".

from what i was told, we don't celebrate birthdays because the only two times it is mentioned in the bible, bad things happened.
so if the wt wants to set standards by the "two bad things" rule, then why do they use the name bethel?
i've read two instances in the bible where bad things happened there.
I know 2 bad things happened in FS. One sister got attacked and hospitalized by a Newfoundland dog (now if that's not Satan ... ) and another got threatened with a shotgun (and this is Canada, peeps!).
PROOF that Satan is behind the door-to-door ministry!

i started my fade a the beginning of 2015, took counseling form a psychiatrist, and worked hard to get my family away from the cult.
my marriage split and i now live alone with my 15 year old daughter.. she came to me last night and we started talking about jws.
she told me that the subject they are discussing at the moment in philosophy is "cults".
So happy for you. Isn't it great they realised while they are young and can take advantage of all of the opportunities ahead of them, free of cult mind control.
And just a reminder for the parents. It's great that they have supportive parents that are proud of them, and will help them explore these opportunities, guilt free.
I celebrate all you parents! Keep up the good work.

for example, a sister named anne [1] received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.
Right now I still have room to navigate. I can ignore the DF rules with impunity and I can manipulate JCs I serve on to be sure people are not disfellowshipped. If the organization truly clamps down as I anticipate, then I'll have no choice but to step out.
