My parents always tell me when I get shitty with them about shunning me, they say "Josh you made the choice to leave".. True, but they also made their choice of a false religion over their firstborn son. So, sorry to be so crude, but my life is easier with the thinking "Fuck them". I'm better off without it.

i have a rotater cuff tare and will need surgery.i can live with it (pain)or have it fixed.i am worried that it maybe stiff or i maybe worse off after the surgery.has anyone here had this surgery and how did it turn out.i am not getting it done till i know all the pros and cons.

95% of the time, of the rotator cuff surgeries and patients I've come across they gain full movement back. Occasionally they will have some limitation to the movement with full extension of the arm. However, the benefits outweigh the risks. It is a relatively minor surgery, of course this depends on how extensive your damage is. My grandmother just had hers done, and they have to shave some bone away from her clavicle for better repair. You'll get plenty of physical therapy, and make sure the doc gives you some nice happy pills. You will need them the first few days. Good luck!

Tinkerbell, the best seat was my face actually. LOL I'm only kidding, that is the perv in me coming out. I preferred sitting up in the seats on the 700 level of Filthydelphia. You could sleep up there, and hardly any attendants to stop us from screwing around.
My question is: has anyone ever "tailgated" in a DC parking lot? It's been done a few times, usually the parking lot people wont notice until you first light off your grill....so the thing you do is light it off at lunch time, and then never stop your lunch break, continue it for the rest of the afternoon.

There is a song that had a section of a verse that said "he beat them off"...I believe he was beating off the enemies of Jehovah. Either way, it sounds like a homosexual innuendo to me.
I personally found it funny to be next to people who absolutely sucked at singing, or the old women who couldnt hit the high notes and screwed the songs up.
Did anyone remember them having the piano players in the congregation? I used to play the piano for them before switching over to the CD's. Since I had a key to the hall (yeah they thought i was a pretty decent person)..I'd go into the Kingdom Hall early before field service and play songs off the radio, such as Metallica.
i personally didn't smell anything funny inside a kh.

I hated sitting behind the blue hairs. (Blue hairs=the elderly women who would sit together and dye their hair so much it turned blue)....Especially since they didnt have as much sphincter tone, they would leak farts. In all the years of smelling all kinda of odors on my ambulance, i think blue hair assfunk is the worst of all.
as many of you know there are some studies that indicade thath jw have an above-average mental illness incidence.
i know a jw doctor that , ironicaly, has confirmed this claim to me.. greets,.

I always got depressed on Sundays (public talk/Watchtower), Tuesdays (TMS, Service Mtg), Thursdays (Bible study), and Saturdays (Field service.)
Another thing that happened in our congregations was when a new illness or disease became popular and signs/symptoms were listed in the Afake! Magazine, nearly 50% of the congregation had that illness! Jehovahs Witnesses are a bunch of attention seeking crybabies when it comes to illness. They know they will get an outpouring of love that would not normally be shown to them thru the congregation. I am in no way knocking persons who due have depression or any other illnesses, however...I have seen it abused by many just to get attention.

i'm sure this must of happened at least once in 125 years, but what if .......... you are working for brother a in his cleaning business (that's seems to be all jw's do) or any other business, and you get df'd lets say for immoral conduct or apostacy, would you be fired ???
and what legal course would you have ???
the freedom of rights must include discrimination against/for religion, just because someone leaves a religion does that give the right to the owner of the business to fire a person.. any thoughts ????????.
It is true....it seems that all JW's are into the "cleaning" business. Not knocking it by any means, however, has anyone else noticed that most witnesses have a problem with authority? They never want to work for anyone but themselves or another witness. There was a very popular witness disagreement between a witness boss and one of his witness employees. Wow, did things get interesting (finally) at the meetings.

local brothers don't have two elder titles.what is the thinking behind this?elders have control of the cong.but if you are living in bethel,do you control other bethelites because you are also a bethel elder.a doubling of the elder title.what about the sister's,are they sister so and so in the cong.and sister so and so in bethel ?

There is an elder in a congregation in Hanover, PA that has business cards listing his name and the title "Elder" in big bold letters. He hands these out quite frequently, I guess it makes him feel special. Wonder how special it felt when both of his daughters were disfellowshipped for riding the balogney pony?
