  there is something going down on my street

  first i saw a cop car going very slow down the street..........even slowing down more in front of my house.. and just now, a cop is walking along the other side of the street as if he is looking for something.. maybe a gun, a big bag of weed or something.. purps.

  i was at a gun show once........... well more than once............ ok starting over

  one time while i was at a gunshow.......... across the building i heard a round go off.................. im not ashamed to admit..... my big redneck arse was just about to dive under the dudes table lol...... that was from one "pop". fortunately it was just a round in a reloading press and it went into the ceiling.

  New meeting phone conference system?

  i went over to a some older stay at home jws.

  it was time for the meeting.

  they called a local phone #.

  yeah the hall i went to made the sound servant call people on the extra phone lines at meeting time. if they wanted to listen then he turned a machine on and put them on hold untill he got the next person on the other line............ couldnt comment tho........................ can count as many people as were listening. that cong did it for elderly who couldnt make the drive.............. others can do it just to boost attendance numbers.

  Never Hire A Jehovah's Witness!

  if you are an employer, never hire a jehovah's witness.

  the reason for this is simple: that mistake may cost you a lot of money!

  you can bot expect a jehovah's witness to do what they are told to do, but you can expect them to do the oposite!

  i was always a damn good worker while being a witness same as i am now. so i know they exist.

  fact is i would probably not hire one, and if it struck me that he was the best person for the job i would set things up to knock problems in the head before theyg ot started.

  a new code of office conduct, dress code, employee rulebook ect.

  hire them as temps for three months......... which means that you can fire them at any time without a reason.

  make it clear that senority is how things are done...... so if someone who has been working at the company for years wants sunday off............. then the dub aint getting it....... untill they have senority

  get an iron clad system

  a list of job requirements

  make sure that if you dont meet the requirements for the job then your out......... can even give them a 30 day window in which if there is a job they are qualified for and have enough senority for then can transfer.....

  I got a call from an elder, he wants to come visit tomorrow.........

  so what to do?????.

  he was a family friend for years.....i saw him in the supermarket a few months back and he stopped and chatted to me for a while.....he rang me today to see if he can call in the morning for a cuppa......he says he isnt coming to preach...... he is one of those likeable people..........but has had a heart attack shortly after i saw him in the supermarket......he says he is okay now.. so i cant really see the point...........he is older; in his 70's.......and i think whatever we talk about i dont want to be responsible for putting his health at risk by opposing his beliefs.. am i missing an opportunity or should i leave well alone?.

  best bet............... meet him somewhere. say you have an errand early that morning and find a place not to far from his place... that way if he starts some s*** you can hightail it outta there.

  otherwise id thank him and pass on that invitation, and express joy that he is doing better.
