If I knew more about web-site design I might be tempted to splash out £5 and build a spoof site.

Is this the start of a change of policy regarding individual JWs preparing internet pages.
by joe134cd inthis is a quote of a quote taken from anthoney mathenia:.
" for organizations like the watchtower, absolute control of their message is paramount.
it will not even allow its own adherents to spread their good news online.

Welcome! Do work hard at college and make the most of the opportunity that your father is supporting (at some cost to himself potentially).

Poll--How Many Believe In God, Do Not Believe or Are Not Sure Of His Existence?
by minimus ini believe in god but i'm not sure of anything....what about you?.

Can't see any evidence whatsoever for a god, certainly not one who has any interest in humankind. I don't know why there was a big bang but we seem to have the following 13.7 billion years pretty well understood.

Looks like the elder hasn't understood that the belt tightening happens only after you lose weight.

Sickening. I just hope reading that will discourage some people who might otherwise join the cult.

DELIGHTFUL DROP IN MEMORIAL ATTENDANCES: 2011 VERSUS 2014!
by steve2 inthe us kingdom ministry shows the collective total 2014 memorial attendances of the countries that now comprise the us territory in 2014: 2,610,810.. those countries are: the usa, bermuda, jamaica, turks and caicos and puerto rico.. the same collective total for those same countries three years ago - 2011 - was 2,666,592.. that's a decrease of 55,782 from 2011 to 2014. i am happified.. while there has been the occasional year in which memorial attendances from one year to the next have shown decrease, this is a first: decline evident over a three-year period.. comments please!.
.
anyone have the know how on how to provide the link for the kingdom ministry download?

That's a 2% fall. in that period the US population (which presumably dominates these figures) grew by around 3% I think. Not very impressive for the WT.

JWs: not creationists but believe in creation...
by TheStumbler ini've been having a bit of an email exchange with elder dad and i need some advice.
i thought i was getting through to him but i think my criticism and tone became a bit too strident in my last email and now he thinks that i am attacking him personally.
i think he has dismissed everything i said because he perceived me as 'overally critical, and rude.. .

As far as I can make out, JWs are creationists in any normal sense of the word. However for your Dad, the word creationist means a 6-day creationist, which JWs are not, therefore, in his eyes, JWs are not creationists. I'd give up on this one if I were you.

As a never-in I can only comment on the songs at a couple of weddings I've been to. All I can say is that if those dirges are the choices for a joyous occasion, I'd hate to hear the sombre ones. They were truly awful (though admittedly not helped by a tinny sound system and a poor singing effort from the mainly JW congregation).
