I hate it when they catch you by surprise like this. seems we always try and think and prepare what we might say if we saw a witness/elder/whatever. But, when the time comes, the mind goes completely blank. SO, I think you did pretty well Min, good for you, and the staring him down, great! They think they are superior and try to intimidate, so when you did this, you let him know, he wouldnt be able to intimdate you. THey always try to refer to "remember this or that" like we are supposed to have fond memories and that will make us want to come back. Did it actually stir up a fond memory for you? Just wondering. I think you did good. Congratulations on your daughter getting married.
ciao!

Why do men "play" dumb?
by Netty inso i am here this morning with my octopus arms, making the kids breakfast with one hand, getting them dressed with the other, doing their hair with another hand brushing their teeth with another hand, etc.
you get the picture... while my husband sits at the table reading the newspaper.
both kids are complaining of sore throat and have some sort of summer cold, so i asked hime could you please get the medicine and give them some medicine, and what does he do?

Obiwan,
they have syrup for children, tylenol, motrin, cold medicine, all in syrup form, once you open it, you must refrigerate it, or it goes bad.

I dont think you went to far. There is absolutely nothing I would not do to protect my loved ones, my babies. I have a huge phobia of spiders/scorpions/snakes, but hey all of a sudden for the first time in my life, I killed the crap out of a spider, why? Stupid bug was coming after my baby. (I checked the wall after I went into my the spider must die rage, and there was a hole in in it the size of a grapefruit.)
We all have that instinct to protect our loved ones. You didnt do anything wrong. Maybe you feel bad because he is a special needs person, but dont, you shouldnt, this is not your fault. His mother is doing him a huge disservice by not training him that his behavior is not acceptable.
