Woke up at 3pm and took BBgun to a nearby park which has water attractions of sorts. She made friends with another little girl and and I got to push them both on the swing set while they sang they're abc's and Bah bah black sheep. Then when I left for work at 8pm she gave me hugs and told me how much fun she had today at the park.
Best gift you can get from your kid is to see them happy.

The only thing I ever heard discussed was that we get to pick out the best homes left over from all the people Jehovah gets rid of during the big A. I was going to take a low maintenance one so I could kick back under my vine and fig tree.
what is everyone cooking today for dinner?.
i just put in a turkey breast roast (it's 8:00 a.m.).
first, it's in a oven of 425 degrees to kill off all the surface bacteria, then after an hour, i'll slow roast it at 225 or 250 degrees for 5-6 hours.
Today it was Prawns..tomorrow lime marinated steak!

i admit it, i wanted to be the first to wish all of you guys a happy father's day.. i've been thinking about those of you who are separated from their kids, and grandkids, all week.. to you guys, especially, talesin sends her love, and wants you all to know that i will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Yup...every day is happy fathers day for me.
i had to drive about 600km (370 miles) to hamburg and back again yesterday on business.. for those of you that don't know, large parts of the german network of autobahns (freeways) have no speed limit.. of course, those who say german's don't have a sense of humour won't have though in detail about having a network of two-lane dual carriageways with no speed limit.
a very funny idea.. it was still a pretty good average speed (about 135km/h, 83mph) for the part of the journey in germany, and we , but as i got up to 220km/h (135mph) at various points and cruised over 160km/h (100mph) a lot, if they'd been a third lane it would have been a lot higher.
one side effect is once you are back down to normal highway speeds (120km/h) it feels like you're doing 50k/mh.
Abaddon with your fantastic reasoning skills I pity the poor cop who pulled you over, probably wrote himself a ticket after you were through with him!
