Good manners and curse words
by Maverick inone of the comments i have heard many times is what good manners i display.
i open doors, allow others to cut in line ahead of me, say please, thank you and may i all the time, stand for a lady and many other simple little and often goofy actions that seem to have been lost on the current generation.
in fact the thing that attracted my present girlfriend was her observation of my good manners.

Where have I been?
by Outaservice infor those of you who know me, i want to let you know what has been happening lately.. on july 8th, i went in for emergency colon cancer surgery.
the tumor was removed but some malignancy was found in a few lymph nodes so chemo was recommended.
i had my first of 12 treatments last week and appear to be doing okay without any side effects.. your prayers and best wishes are appreciated very much.

Outa sorry to hear of your fight with cancer...sounds like your well informed and doing lots of research into your foe.
I wonder why all these cures are either tree bark or snails..snails of all things, who got the job of checking snails for colon cancer.
Why not ice cream or chocolate...it's a conspiracy Outa.

the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!
they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

Whatever you decide to do and whatever you must do, know that I wish there was more I could do.

Just dropped by your daily journal to say I'm still sending you good thoughts and even prayers...and I don't really care to pray anymore so it feels a little odd.
Interesting comments you made about being Buddhist. Sounds like a world of Buddhists would be a peaceful place to live, not as exciting as a world of nudists mind you.

any pointers??
i work as a legal secretary right now, and this is a job that i'm applying for at the ontario attorney general's office, as a trial co-ordinator.. any advice would be helpful.
