I've heard plenty, here are a few
I was looking for good reliable car and found this low milage one in my price range, it was a blessing from Jehovah (Jehovah the used car salesman, formerly sold wagons, horses and chariots in years gone by)
If you buy a lemon then Jehovah had nothing to do with it, Satan was on the sales floor that day.
We put our house up forsale and we got exactly what we were asking, thankyou Jehovah for blessing us. (Nevermind the realestate boom and that housing sales are going through the roof which means Jehovah must be selling everyone's house)
Oh and the brothers and sisters who had their homes on the market forever must be materialistic and not putting Jehovah first.

Living life to the fullest, I have come to think it means not putting off till tomorrow what you can do today. Similar to Mulan and Zen in that we live a fuller life if we realize our hopes and dreams now instead of putting life on hold for paradise to correct our problems and fulfill our dreams.
I'll learn how to play guitar in paradise...I'll learn a second language in paradise.... I'll see the world in paradise...I'll have children in paradise... I'll get married in paradise...I'm sure gumbro that you and I even said similar things.
I suppose as well the term means something very different to people in Sudan where staying alive and protecting your family is a daily goal.
Tell the people you care about sooner not later, fullfill your dreams sooner not later....sometimes later never comes.
Don't forget to take your metamucile today so that you can live life to it's fullest tomorrow...Gumbowls

Child Therapist/Social Worker Says JW Religion Destructive

i was able to talk to the therapist and bring her up to speed on nancy and to talk about my concerns.
she said that she is completely aware of the effect the religion is having on the kids.

Joker once again you've struck a sensitive nerve with me, my guilt is consuming me so I'll tell you the story.
Several times while I handled roaving mikes over the years I passed gas at the front of the hall and quickly made my way to the back. I cringe when I think of the twisted faces and watery eyes of those poor brothers and sisters (luckily almost everyone sat in the back) I'm sure they thought it was the brothers talk coming to life as he described the air of this old world but in fact..it was a silent but deadly fart.
You do realize a fart is as treacheous as Satan..you aim them at your feet and they hit you in the nose!
How diabolic is that...why..why..why did Jehovah give me this incredible power to silently spread evil.

by Terry inevery baby born seems to have a giant helping of fairy stories, talking animals, outrageous exaggerations parading as "fact" and an endless stream of cartoons, science fiction and make-believe.
the laws of nature and physics are violated every few seconds in film and tv!
is it surprising that children are not only ignorant of how things really work-but, they don't have patience and an appetite for fact when they get to the schoolroom.

From all of the non-jw people I have ever known this statement does not apply.
IMO the point of the Santa claus myth is getting children's minds prepared for later religious indoctrination.
Christmas is a commercial enterprise around the world, Asian countries have embraced it and place no religous meaning to it as far as I know.
In fact it seems that religion has slowly been removed from every holiday which is currently celebrated, there are some who do still attach religous meaning but they seem to be the minority.

I would remove Dear Sirs and put To whom it may concern or Offspring of vipers...or possible just remove the Dear Sirs and replace it with nothing.
You could conclude with the scripture in revelation where it says to get out of babylon the great as being your ultimate reason for giving them the boot...they like that verse.
