The depiction of the events as told in the bible account are accurate and true as can be seen by wide acceptance of this story. Further to this Alexander Hislop in his book The Two Babylons states "The biblical story of Dinah can be accepted as fact, the modern song which was actually Sumerian in origin clearly states and leaves no room for doubt when it emphatically states: Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah, someone's in the kitchen I know, someone's in the kitchen with Dinah and he's strumming on the old Banjo. It can't get much clearer than that!

1. a Japanese Samurai

2. a Chinese Samurai

3. a Jewish Samurai

The emperor asked the Japanese Samurai to come in and demonstrate why he should be the chief Samurai. The Japanese Samurai opened a match box, and out popped a bumblebee. Whoosh! went his sword, and the bumblebee dropped dead on the ground.

The emperor exclaimed "That is very impressive!"

The emperor then issued the same challenge to the Chinese Samurai, to come in and demonstrate why he should be chosen. The Chinese samurai also opened a match box and out buzzed a fly. Whoosh, Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! And the fly dropped dead on the ground in four small pieces.

The emperor exclaimed: "That is VERY impressive!"

Now the emperor turned to the Jewish Samurai, and asked him to demonstrate why he should be the Chief Samurai. The Jewish Samurai also opened a match box, and out flew a gnat. His flashing sword went Whoosh! But the gnat was still alive and flying around.

The emperor, obviously disappointed, said: "Very ambitious!, but why is that gnat not dead?"

Oh my stars...this forum is better than my book of bible stories lately..all of the old Walt Disney classics are being retold.

Any boy who cared enough about a girl to sacrafice something that he had carried with him for over twenty years could not be all that bad...and can you imagine President Bush asking all the men to get circumcized so his son who would be named George as well could marry this cute Canadian girl...but he really loves her guys...hmmm...cuz you know as soon as that happened we'd send Walter and XJW over the border to kick all your asses while your still to sore to move.

i need advice.

my daughter is getting married next month, she has no idea of the extent of my husbands and my fading as she lives in another area.. the thing is she really loves this guy and will marry him come what may, but my husband thinks she should know about us before she gets married.

im worried her bf might say we cant go to the wedding or stop her seeing us after.. ive got a idea hes a bit of a hard liner, controlling!

What a predicament

If you wait until after she'll be forced to choose between her parents and her husband, who you say is controlling...even if you tell her she can do what she wants the decision will still be there.

If you tell her before hand the scenario is not much better and it will most likely make the wedding day a terrible strain on all.

Timing is so important, just like timing was critical in almost all who became dubs timing is even more critical when trying to get ones out of the Troof.

You have not betrayed her, it's impossible not to blame ourselves to some extent when we realize we were duped and in return duped our children... but try not to, look around the world and note what many devoted parents teach they're children to do in the name of religion and family...then look at yourself and realize your a pretty damn good parent. Even now, the reason your torn is because of your love for your daughter.

I hope things work out, its a tough situation

After 4 years, I finally had JWs at my door today!

yesterday i saw two women walking slowly around the end of our street, waiting on porches of empty homes.

i told my husband, "look, there are 2 jws.

we haven't had them come here for 4 years--ever since i mentioned that i had some serious questions (but had never enumerated any points at all).

I have been in service with seasoned elders that turn and walk away from the door as soon as someone mentions they got info from the net.

Actually, I find b.o. rather erotic...........(translates to I stink what about you).don't know, guess I spent too much time on the farm with horses when I was growin' up...............(I actually like this mental image, I must pummel my body as a slave)and, while I don't let my armpit hair grow, during the winter I do not shave my legs as often..........it's a pain in the ass..........(Hair from armpit to arsehole)so, I take a bit of a break!
