  Question: What keeps the Watchtower Society going?

  hello folks, it's been awhile since i have posted, hope everyone is doing well!

  i have a question, though, if the society is not paying the governing body, or other "big wigs" in ny large salaries, what would be the motivating factor for the society to continue to exist?

  i am not saying that money is everything, but if none of the money is going into pockets, then the society must really feel that they are god's chosen channel, or something to that effect.

  I do not understand why some body want to know more about past lives ?there is not answer,becouse there is not such a thing.It is wonderful to know from the Bible that when we die it is all over for the time been. Resurrection is my big hope it is God s` promise. I am happy with my present life,why worried for the past lives ? what a waste of time in impossible aswer.God is providing all of us with more informations about that,why wasting yor time and peace.?

  says it is by satanic design to untheocratically elevate the woman above the man.tipping your hat to a woman could possibly lead to improper advances.it sets a woman apart because of her sex.it is subtly disguised creature worship!.

  To rise for a woman is simply a gesture of cortesy. I remember,few years back on one Sunday morning,going to the meeting as usual,one new elder was attending to the k.h entrance.My husband and I were approcing the door and this brother greeted my husband but turn his back on me.I was astonished,I could not belive that still happend in a very civilised world.What did he learn all the ears while living in the bethel,I do not know.I made a remark to the dear brother that in my country and every civilised people shaking hand to the woman too would be the right maner and respect also toward my husband that was looking at me with amazed.Is not worshiping human,is just acting like one.

  after watching all along the watchtower!

  i was shocked because i had a similar experience to that blonde women with the jw husband that wouldnt and didnt consumate her marriage.. i really felt like i related to her because similar happened to me.. i left after that id had enough but it was a combination of things... spent the last 2 days watching all the videos and listening to all the radio broadcasts on dirtclod.com.

  tears your heart out completely... i can relate..altho my second husband not a witness whom i was with when i became one...raped my kids and he wasnt a witness..they still didnt wanna help me either.

  i needed help i had 3 traumatised babies at the time and they didnt wanna know said i made it up and put idea in their heads.. rich aint it?.

  Your story is very very well written,is like if i was watching a misterious movie.Nothing sorprises me anymore about them (j.w) I thank God avery day for get me out of that human trap.There is people with honest heart,incapable to help themself.Family can be a strong reason to stay.I am very sorry that nobody but themselfs can make the decision to reach out for freedom. To be slave of God is one thing,slave of man is another. God is love,therefore we need is love and proctetion.He made us free ,we should not let anyone interfering with that preciuos divine gift.

  Ah, What a tangled web we weave...

  ...when first we practice to decieve.. the semester just started again for me, and i'm using my computer lab access to write this, because i feel like venting.

  ... and so i will vent.

  so i worked with my jw ex best friend (mind you, i said jw ex best friend, not ex jw best friend) and she and i were blissfully ignoring eachother (at least i was blissfully ignoring her) when all of a sudden she starts talking to me again... which, to my surprise, was shocking.

  I personally did not need any help,but i was not born in that org.and we are all different ,also the fact you were born as j.w. must be very different from be a converted one.The system the org,practice is not to put things together,avery thing is impossible if you do not follow the law of the party that you are in.If you love me you follow me,as i say. If she ask your help,give it to her.As far as i concerne this is what Jesus would do in this occasion.

  and i remember the days when the jws warned about the catholics and their "index" of books, movies, and plays that were denied to catholics as being "dangerous" to their faith.

  that is to say, they were revelatory of the actual truth of a matter and the roman church did not want these truths spreading throughout the faithful.

  now the witnesses are up to it to.. have you read 1984?

  I have just finish to read all your comments ,and i must tell you it was very informative,excellent work.I got in the org.in 1986 and i did not know what was going on.I actually liked the way this people teach and for twelve years i convinced myself that i was in the wright org.finally!!! But in the last few years i used my common senses,that is i begin to reason on the few things that clearly was going on. But the day i wake up it was like a reveletion.NO thank you I AM NOT I ROBOT. I will read the 1984 ,and the other books mentioned in your letter.thanks very much to you all for the precious information. The computer surrely must be a huge pain for someone who love secrets.

  Can Men & Women Just be Friends?

  is it possible to just be friends with the opposite sex?

  and how do you feel when your significant other has a "best" friend of the opposite sex?

  If the friend is behaving in a way that make you fill comfortably,yes is possible to be friend with your opposite sex,but generally speaking,is like going too close to the open fire if the other one feels different toward you.Remember the paper near the fire burns very fast,and is very dangerous.That sort of friend can exist but it is quite a personal decision to take ( this is my oppinion) thanks.

  is the wtbts publications free in your respective countries or is there still a posted charge for it?.

  i know us, canada, france and the land down under are free.....not exactly free they cost you your life but you know what i mean.

  This sort of donations that has changed in the year 2000 is simlpy another of j.w magic incame for the society.Infact they by donations make double profit,how? they always get the sure money at each mags.collection from the congregation plus the benefits they get from people donations.Any time you donate many to any religion or organisation you can claim on tax,but with the j.w.they get the cake and eat it too. PS,is there any comment please.
