  in the last 6 months my family and i have stopped attending cold turkey.

  it is incredible to me to see how our so called friends have dropped us like we were a snake covered in spiders.

  we actually havent really said anything to anybody about why we stopped.

  You sound like a great family and SO kind.

  You definitely did the right thing, in walking away. It's brilliant that you still have your faith and are teaching your kids decent Christian values.

  The Watchtower can go hang.

  Drama friday 2014 DC

  anyone seen the drama on friday ?.

  it was about a pioneer couple, when the husband, also an elder, lost his job, and borrowed money from a fellwo elder, who apparently was considered weatlthy.. the main lesson of the drama was quite ok, even though a bit overdone, touching on the issue of gossip and false assumptions.. but there were at least two subtle lessons, whitch were quite disturbing:.

  1) no matter what happens, remain pioneering.

  67 minutes - time to help

  in south africa we have mandela day on the 18th of july - it was his birday and people in sa celebrate it by spending at least 67 minutes helping someone or helping a cause.

  this year, my friends and i are helping out a horse sactuary in desperate need of food for their animals.

  we are ording in hay, shandy chubes and hay presto.

  Special Campaign In August Any Observations So Far

  km part this week (july 14) get ready for the special campaign in august the brother tried his best to hype it up.

  he raised his voice in enthusiasm and three times over ten minutes boomed out these same questions, are you ready brothers?

  are we all really, really ready for this special campaign in august?

  i have suffered with menopausal symptoms for a few years now.

  hot flushes and facial sweating, the most noticeable to others.. a sister i knew used to laugh and pretty much, mock me.

  i used to say "you wait till you get them" , without being nasty.. i seriously hope she suffers.

  I sometimes get severe ovarian pain. Is this another symptom of something??

  Grreat Teacher, I was so poorly (with excessive bleeding, sorry guys) when I was in Egypt in January, my Mum contacted the Hotel Manager for help. He contacted a local pharmacy who issued some medication (which I'd taken before) to control the problem.

  Peri-Menopause is NOT for wimps.

  I may have to have endometerial ablation - where they laser the lining of the uterus. Deep joy.

  Update on shunning@the store. Watchtower victorious.

  yep, that's right.

  after all my friends and my efforts, the shunning carries on.. the 3 people who were shunning me at my local supermarket, still, are carrying on this practice.. little subtleties like avoiding eye contact, making busy as i walk past and looks out of the corner of their eyes.

  you know the modus operandi.. nothing now the store can do about it.

  well me, fraz and laika had a little meetup before we went on holiday.....it was great to meet fraz for the first time.

  our hols were teriffic and i have enjoyed dating too.

  Just be careful, Kate. You know what this acceptance takes the form of, unconditional obedience to the Borg.

  They will just bleed you dry and confuse you even more.
