Yes, I agree. I prefer traditional medicine myself or something from Holland & Barrett - a health store chain to our non-UK friends.

My friend is thinking of seeing a spiritual healer to cure her food allergies. She was talking to him in my local supermarket last week and I was with her. He said he cured a young woman of polyps (in her uterus). O k a y?????

the wt really has no chance in such a world of free and accessible information.
keep fighting guys, the freedom once you are loose of the governing body is awesome, you will be amazed how long you ignored the stench off bullshit as your ability to smell it returns.. and on that note ;) x. .

Failure
by backformore inso tonight just sucks ad i just want to vent to people who don't know me irl.. my wife and i have two kids.
i was still in when we got together but my wife never was.
when we actually got married i moved out of my parents place and never went back to a kingdom hall again.

Breathe. Relax. Nothing bad is happening.
You should take some time out as a family. A little holiday, nothing expensive. Camping, fishing, build a bbq. Get to know each of your family again. Have a good chat, count your blessings.
Sometimes it's better not to fix what isn't broken anyway.
You have much more than many folks.

I loathe authority
by punkofnice innow i'm not preaching hatred here i am just expressing how i've felt for years even when i was a jw.. i totally loathe the police/policticians...any authority......anyone that is over anyone else.
i have a total hatred of them all.
i wonder if it's because i was raised a jw?.

My Dad taught me to question EVERYTHING.
I particularly dislike local government. Charge us a fortune and do feck all. Recycling Gestapo. Spending up to the max before the end of year accounts, yet our roads are full of potholes. Gypsy Liaison Officers. You know what I mean.

How would you answer?
by punkofnice ina friend of mine (who is waking up), recently had the elders do a sheep herding visit.. they were browbeating my friend about attending meetings.
my friend has been ill and unable to attend anyway.. what response would you give to this garbage?.
if we were in a house and it was on fire and we couldnt walk we would have to crawl.. an example of a sister with an iron lung was brought up to show that if shes in this condition, we need to examine ourselves.

2014 Annual Meeting not being streamed worldwide?
by Richard_I ini haven't heard a peep about the 2014 annual meeting being shown worldwide (or at least across north america) like it was last year.
they made a big deal with the am last year, congs had to get the projectors and screens for the showing, and we were told in advance of the time and location to attend.
but i have heard absolutely nothing this year, at least here in canada.

The instructions that were being published through the literature last year wher it said "the GB may instruct us to follow their direction in a way that seems illogical but we must show faith and obedience etc....." That was when one of the alarm bells started ringing and I began question in my head "what the hell am I doing??" It sounded a bit like Waco to me!!
Just shows you, we should listed to our gut feelings - they are there for a reason.
But as The Searcher said, all the twists and turns of jehoover's chariot keeps the R&F guessing.
