wife has gone out to the kh this a.m., so i thought i'd balance the world karma by reading jwn, and then looked on jw.borg to see if the stats are up yet.

they weren't so i check out the latest study edition as i promised her i would mark one up in all sorts of colours to show the various techniques employed to guide jw's.... anyway, i noticed the contradiction in the two articles; "your speechyes and yet no?

" and "reaching the heart of unbelieving relatives" where in the first they are saying if you say yes, mean it, or if you say no, mean it.

I feel sorry (sometimes!!!) for the people who go out and do this Field Circus, week in, week out. Why do they have to do it? What purpose does it serve? No one wants religion anymore. They want answers, not empty promises. The Borg are quite happy to vilify governments but they are no different.

Let's get a reality check, if I want new windows, loft/cavity insulation, I possess sufficient intelligence that I can find out for myself. Hence, with religion. The Ministry is, in my opinion, an insult to people.

I have not been on the ministry since 2006 (once), and in 2005 (twice). I could not seriously go out in it now as it's such a lot of rubbish and I could'nt get my head around the overlapping generations, the 607 thing and general junk.

Not at the KH, I'm DA'd. My last meeting was early September where we had a crap talk and stoopid WT. That was the final straw.

awesome is a loaded word.

we may think it relates to something flashy and expensive and elaborate.

or we may think of something else.. for those of us who are out or coming out, awake, or waking up, choosing to celebrate can be very symbolic of how far we have come.

No, not like that!!! Something like clay pigeon shooting or target shooting. I just always wanted to do it. My Dad owned 2 guns and used to shoot on private land when I was young. We ate what he shot. Not just for gratuitous violence. We used to be part of a local hunt as well. A big tradition where I grew up.

Thoughts on going back, am I the only one that feels this way?

hello everyone, i know you have heard this topic before and your probably thinking.

...not again lol.. but i was wondering if anyone has thought of going back for the same reasons as myself, i don't think its the truth but i searched and my conclusion is that other religions don't have the truth, they are all wrong in my opinion.

if there is no other religion to go too, why leave were i was born and raised.

Hey, GoneAwol.my husband reckons that there is an element of swinging in the Borg.instead of keys on the table, they chuck down the NWT.I would not be surprised.

The Two Witness Rule breeds Predators.

i have a friend who works in a correctional facility for sex offenders.. there is a brother who is serving a sentence for having sexual relations with a number of under age girls.. due to the "the witness rule" this man has not been disfellowshipped.

his congregation are still supporting him and he receives visits from the prison assigned elder.. i cannot contain my anger.. this is surely breeding predators.. i have probably mentioned this on here before but i wanted to post in this area for emphasis.. .
