  Watchtower Letters to BOE exposed on You Tube about Child Abuse

  i don't know if these letters have been seen before, certainly some have discussed them.

  but this you tube upload is short and sweet in exposing some confidential letters that show the two sides to wt speak.. cheers!

  Who are they trying to Convince?

  recently the father of one of my old jw friend's father, who was a holocaust survivor, died.....he was a devout jw but hated the bethel hierarchy and the pharisism in the watchtower, openly disagreed with published positions and defied the eldership.. he once lamented to me that the people who wanted his information and memorabilia from the nazi concentration camp "are apostate makers, teaching people to hate jehober and his organ....ization".....and "i will never get the stuff back".

  anyway, you all know how jw funerals work.

  they usually take weeks in order to schedule and drum up enough support to make it "an occasion".. although not always the case, the funeral is more or less an infomercial where the jw's use the time to further indoctrinate their unique beliefs.

  JW Take on Matt 18 and Reporting "Sin" to "Elders"

  i was wondering what your impressions are of the recent convo i had with a jw elder who thought he would call up his old "apostate" buddy and try to sell him some software.

  i agreed to the meeting thinking this would be great.

  my own mother won't talk to me but this guy feels this "business" would allow him to fraternise.. he quickly gets on the jw topic by mentioning a recent funeral of a mutual acquaintance in the "tooth" and why i wasn't there.

  How many have heard of this latest JW Survival Kit?

  it has long been pointed out by apostates, myself included, on this board and others that if the jw's really believed the end of this "system of things" is coming, why are they not making practical efforts to prepare.. .

  the only thing the watchtower and awake will be good for after this believed meltdown is toilet paper!

  there are many commendable things wrapped up in the witness ideal.

  this is hard to dispute and is obviously what attracts people to it and did so many of us.

  but just as the luster of something that we bought fades or tarnishes over time, so have the very things that may have attracted us in the first place.
