My question is - why doesn't she "step aside" and go from FT pioneer to DA'ed former member and stop wasting her time hawking the WTS rubbish? We wasted too much time, let her save some of her energy and forget what THOSE PEOPLE think about her at all. "Status" assigned by dead-beat Pharisees is still dead-beat status. Then again, the "bum's rush" can be cold and jolting.

how many people make a "comeback"
by stopthepain ini personally am ashamed of my so-called comeback.. hers the story.brainwashed from infancy on,got out at age 16-17-really started hating the religion.tried lots of drugs,sex ,selling drugs ,fighting,partying,gambling-soup to nuts.at a fragile and emotional point in my life,i looked back to the religion{for all those sappy and emotional reasons-ex-my life has no meaning,i dont like the way my life is}i had a short lived comeback,and fell into all the traps of believimg a cult again.thinking i needed "structure"in my life.my mom kept sayimg how i would find a nice sister,blah blah blah.... .
after 5-6 months of going to meetings i* stopped,i realized most of the people there{especial;ly young ones raised in the troof}were living lies,and acting very immature.that was 3 years ago.i havent been to the kh since and never plan on going back.. i guess im embarrssed about this and feel stupid about my "comeback".wondering if this is natural to have a comeback considering my circumstances,or if anyone has done this?.
please forgive me...........it will never happen again

I made a few "comeback" attempts. Horible experiences in Massachusetts and in Florida twice. Each "comeback" got worse, though the elders loved to hear the exact nature of my debilitated life each time. They wanted more and more details, the last time after a month of attending meetings the J.C. met with me and I told them fables that were majestic, they wanted more dirt, so I gave them horrific stories and in the middle of one "sex story" I walked out. That was the last "comeback." Hell, that was years before these boards. There was no one to talk with, aside from Ray Franz and a few others, that would take calls. Some of us couldn't believe that the whole WTS was a fable, a very bad one at that. Hang in there, you're cool.

I'm afraid there are only 2 ways of being a true believin' Christian
by Zep inthe first way is to be completely ignorant.to ignore the fact that the bible is a hopelessly flawed man made document, and all other reasoned argument and evidence that points to the non existence of the christian god.
this strategy basically involves living inside mental cocoon and closing your eyes to any alternative views.
the best way to employ this tactic is to perform a whole lot repetitive and ritualistic action; a whole lot of head bowing and praying etc... etc....you know the drill!.

My Deleted Elder Friend Stopped By.......
by minimus inwith his wife to say that it's been 3 months since my daughter's wedding and in october he got deleted for going to it even though the presiding overseer told him it was a "conscience matter.

".....the circuit overseer saw it differently and removed my friend as an elder amd my mom as a regular pioneer because of a letter sent only to circuit overseers in 1999!!!!

There is no way a JW can exercise his/her conscience. That's why most of us HAD to leave. That is such a joke "conscience matter" - tell me what JW was ever able to live by a "Bible trained conscience?" Nah; it is the WTS way, or the highway. Then again, why is your friend appealing? Screw them, and let them eat crap at their "spiritual banquets." Bastards and low life leaders are defeated when we walk away and they have no power over us. May Brooklyn burn this year and all of its branches. Just a wish!
