Let us not forget building projects, JC meetings, correspondence to the WTS, hall cleaning, and evening phone calls. I tell the WTS - wear out the shepherds, and let the sheep go free. I think of 2 former elders (both out) who were friends, and how brain dead they were when they folded. Totally worn out and still being asked for more. Yeah, keep up the good work Brooklyn, beat em up until they crack.

people remembered me from last sunday and actually made an effort to fellowship with me (even though i bolted for the door after the closing prayer).
everyone seems very warm and genuine.

about a month ago i posted about an internet scam where people over-seas try to get people in america to pay for cars that will be shipped to them from another country.. i have reported this scam to yahoo!
autos and to the internet fraud complaint center (www.ifccfbi.gov) but never heard from either and since then i have seen a substantial increase in the number of scams appearing in the yahoo!

I don't own a TV, and from assorted CNN (on the web) videos I was convinced of the nightmare at hand (days ago!) at the Superdome. Each day it has become worse. So if FEMA didn't know, who in Washington knows anything, about anything? Piss poor people in powerful jobs. (PPPIPJ)
i'm sitting here in awe, just having read that evacuation helicopters are reporting being shot at in louisiana.
shot at.. looters are seeing an opportunity to take goods that will probably be destroyed or paid for by insurance anyway.
it's dirty and nasty and wrong, but i can live with it.

my daughter came home from work while ago and told me that some of the snooty elite in the woodlands (north of houston) community are complaining because there are a lot of cars with louisiana license plates parked on their streets.
they are also complaining that some houses in the woodlands community are housing too many families.
where do these snotty people think these refugees should go?

Despite the tragedies occurring at this moment, I can just imagine the uproar of the locals when the barbeques begin Louisiana style. The "commission" might go into legislation mode in the middle of the night. I know the area you speak of, was there about 2 years ago, it's amazing that people sweat the "small stuff" in the midst of a disaster (when they are removed).
